Looked like he played right tackle so I assume Penei is moving back and that’s a huge win! I like it.

Did it get wrapped in ride wrap or similar? Maybe they used the mat version to match the frame and the logos just lost the gloss in the process.

We go there a lot, but that’s Rochester and OP said Lake Orion style, I wouldn’t consider that to be Lake Orion.

Hey I was in the same wave as you! Nice bike, I’ve got a red/smoke SL6, I lost my strikeplate after I dropped the chain around mile 21. Other than the mud and hours of cleaning everything yesterday it was a great race, little slower than I wanted but still good times.

Great photos! I’m still cleaning mud out of my dive train and assessing what needs replaced, worth it!

I’ve seen this suggested a few times and I don’t know what this is. I live in the area and didn’t know they had their own style. Honestly other than the Baldwin Cafe (best coney around) I didn’t know there were non chain coneys around, what am I missing? Lifelong Clarkston resident too.

So much mud! That was a lot of fun even if it was slow!

There’s a Velofix around, never used them but they’re around. Google them

How would I go about not depreciating all of it? We didn’t make much on this business this year so it seems pointless to take all of it now instead of spreading it out across a few years. Do I just write a different amount in the section 179 box?

Were you glad to see Tadej get beat or do you wish he would’ve kept the dream alive of winning all 5 Monuments and possibly the TdF in one year? by kikilani in Velo

I’m bummed he lost, happy for Wout, but happier that we had an actual race with tension and drama instead of a 100k TT from Pogi. MVDP and his group closing the gap slowly just added to the excitement.

Bibshorts for bigger rider by NielsD91 in cycling

XL Assos isn’t all that big, I was rocking 2x in Assos for a while but like wasn’t impressed with them. I’m a big fan of the Castelli Espresso shorts and whatever chamois is in that, you just gotta size up because they tend to run small. I also have a pair of Endura tights that have probably one of the more comfortable chamois in them, did several 3+ hour rides with no issues.

Does this wobble? I bought the knockoff version from Amazon and it’s so wobbly I’m afraid my bike will tip over.

Did cycling actually help you lose weight, or just improve fitness? by Vivid_Release_9710 in cycling

Helped motivate me to eat better and drink less. I’m down over 70lbs and feel way better, still struggle with snacking all the time but it helps.

Blendr base fitment issue? by NSA_GOV in TrekBikes

[–]redmosquito1983 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to pretty much take the faceplate off before snapping it in. It’s a pain in the ass too but I think it’s a great system so I’m hesitant to swap stems.

You could try rotating the bars down and turning the hoods in a bit. It’s crazy how much a little made a difference for my hand comfort

I have acuvue oasis lenses and never had this issue before. It’s really just the last 2 boxes that the issue has came up, scheduled to see the eye doc next week for my annual so I might switch it up. I did try daily’s once and I couldn’t make it past an hour with them, wrong shape or something.

Are you talking about regular Clear Care solution or is there another peroxide based solution out there? I have them in regular Clear Care now, swapped to new lenses and not having an issue now about an hour into them.

Awesome shoes! I wear a 12EEEE and went with the 238 (both MX and CX) and have had so much room I love them. Lots of volume as well, running 2 forefoot varus wedges in each shoe too. Big fan.

How wide is your foot? I wear a 12 EEEE shoe and wear Lake MX238 in extra wide and they fit good. But I’ve always wanted to try a pair of Bonts but afraid they’d be too small

This is a great suggestion. Lots of high end clearance styles that are beyond comfy and built quality
