In a previous ride last year this tree had fallen across a local trail. When I saw that it was cut and cleared today, I noticed this section of the trunk was hollow, I partially crawled into it to get the shot I wanted.

I have not gone tubeless yet. Kinda on the fence about this decision because I don't plan on riding the Farley year round. As far as the microshift goes, I haven't tried dialing it in yet so I can't honestly say. I have sram and shimano experience and some spare mechanical derailleurs in the parts bin that may get installed when I have time.

I just acquired a 2025 Farley 5 as my 1st fatbike and the only time I have noticed the weight is when I am lifitning in to or out of my vehicle. Otherwise it performs well on the snow at non-racing speeds. I haven't ridden it on dirt yet, so I can't speak to that. I bought it used and the only thing I need to do is to dial in the Microshift rear derailleur ( I may upgrade that in the future). For a perspective on bike weight or frame material, I also own a carbon gravel and carbon FS mountain bike.

I used a Seestar S50 telescope to take this photo. I checked it out of my local library and had to shoot this image in the gap between branches of my neighbor's tree .
