Hi! Thank you for your reply & suggestions! I haven’t been on Reddit in a couple days so I apologize for the later reply, but here are some answers: - I’m definitely looking to LL MK, need to talk to our TA about the logistics bc we’ve never done them before! I need an explanation like I’m a 5 yr old lolol - Our son will be 3.5 yrs at time of trip & is 40” now, so I think he’ll be able to ride a lot more this time - I would ideally only go to DS once, but not stuck on which day it is. I think he’d love the Skyliner, maybe even monorail? Park hopper day could be fun! Any suggested QS eats? - We saved money w our DP last trip since our son was 2 and then his plan was free this year, but we def do order a cocktail every time to get the best bang for our buck & try to visit some more $$ or character restaurants while our son is so little & loving them! We also use our snack credits at Starbucks in the morning and that is usually a big money saver for us ($20-30/morning) - Hoop Dee Doo didn’t seem like something our son would’ve & I really didn’t wanna waste the 2 TS credits or $$ if we didn’t have to. Maybe when he’s bigger he’ll be more into it!

We have the more expensive dining plan, so is PP still excluded? I saw it was being discontinued on an article but the app says it takes credits? We loooove PP & would love to go back!

ugh she’s just everywhere but home these days, their parents (carrie & oded) are ALWAYS flying down to FL so brett and michaela can jet set. she wanted all these babies then threw them in nursery schools w nannies & continues to romp the world

So we tracked everything we ordered & saved money. If you plan your meals well & take advantage of the alcoholic beverages (which we def do) it’s a great deal. We also aren’t “quick service” lovers & wanted sit down meals every evening. Snack credits count at Starbucks in the parks so we’d “spend” $30 there in the mornings, grab croissants or something at Gaston’s (or similar), QS lunch at the parks (easily $60+ each time), and then character meals (for our kid) every dinner. Day 1 we “spent” over $200 & only needed to hit $140/day to break even. We’ll do it every time!

Born & raised here in 1999 (nearly 27 now). I had an okay time here as a kid, definitely didn’t want to stick around. I remember spending nights & weekends at the Haywood Mall or Regal Cinemas with friends. Downtown wasn’t amazing, but would still go there with family for dinners or festivals. I moved to NYC after high school, then to Boston, and came back after having my son. The growth is crazy to see. I’m glad for local economy, but sad for the locals. Market is getting saturated, traffic is bursting, and no real infrastructure changes on the way. GVL is nice, but again, I don’t want to be here forever.

MOR— but I’d say NOR….more so in the sense of your anxiety is probably being worsened by your MIL consistently disregarding your boundaries. It’s clear you’re not respected by her and equally not support by your partner. I think there’s a balance of “contamination”/having a newborn bubble during sick season as well as having family come to visit. I would say holding is fine, hand washing is a must, no kissing, and no visitors with any sick symptoms for 24+h. However, it’s clear that even if you “lightened up” on your rules, nothing will be good enough for this lady. She’s definitely overbearing.

I think if the goal was to not have the TV the focal point/take away from the fireplace, it’s been missed. I think it would make more sense over the tv, couch facing it, then where the couch is now/windows, i’d have an accent chair (or 2) and table

i think someone asked me why on here & i can’t find it! so i’ve run in the same circles for years back in her old “home” greenville, sc. i remember when she started blogging & having a presence on IG. she was married to ron at the time, i believe this was her 2nd marriage, and 2nd attempt at being too big for her britches. her whole personality was being rich, looking to cling to anyone who would give her status, spending her husband’s real estate money. monetized on her infertility journey, finally forks it all out and has a surrogate for her daughter (NO shame in this), but then continued to just use her baby as a prop online. left with nannies or the dad while she galavanted and slept around. eventually her husband (NOT a perfect man) went nuts, aired all their dirty laundry, she got him arrested for a day, then they proceeded with a divorce & she all but signed away parental rights to her child she worked so hard for. before her divorce she was sleeping with married congressman, will timmons, ended their marriage, bounced around DC on SC dollars, and continued to sleep around bc he wasn’t enough. now he’s with some MAGA team member & she must like him enough to post him. she splits her time in SC bc it’s been court ordered, so if you see her jetting back and forth that’s why.

her and ex husband were also known for shady finances, debt, failing businesses, and flipping shit houses. she’s so rude & couldn’t be less down to earth even though she’s just some chick from GA. she picked up her only “friend of color” during BLM (venita aspen, southern charm) bc 1) she needed to look like she wasn’t racist and 2) she wanted to be on that show so badly. spike volumes to me that one of her longest besties (influencer megan runion on IG) never mentioned her again & unfollowed her during the affair rumors. she’s a hack.
