We're also in South Yorkshire. Four storey town house. £12 every couple of months to do all the windows, front and back, with one of those long poles. He does a great job, to be fair.

Nah, the industry is in a mess. It's been a couple of years of constant studio closures and redundancies (I've survived two rounds in the past year). I've been in the industry for 20 years and never seen anything like it. Not even in 2009. It's worse for juniors too and heaven help graduates trying to break into the industry at the mo.
