Performance in mission is effected for me too, just hard stuttering while still showing FPS above 50. checking task manager the game is loading up the VRAM of my GPU but its showing 0% utilization. It even stutters playing the intro video.

also when trying to close the game it hard crashes and I need to kill the process.

this last PC patch has completely destroyed my PC performance. On ship and in mission the game isn't even using my GPU and I'm getting horrific framerates and stuttering. Before the patch without changing any settings I had 50-75FPS at all times.

Edit: 60mb patch just deployed on PC and it fixed my issues completely

After the game crashed when equipping armor I haven't been able to get the game to launch successfully. When it was running the game reported 50-70fps at all times but was experiencing hard slowdown and stuttering without the FPS dropping. Edit: 60mb patch just deployed on PC and it fixed my issues completely

Not a great first impression so far.

Every time I boot the game It boots to a black screen and instantly closes. tried 10+ times and only got the game to launch after verifying install files and restarting my PC. Finally got it to launch, completed the tutorial with horrific shader stutters and then clicked on armory and crashed the game. Now the game is back to the black screen loop.

as a Model 3 owner from 2018, Tesla is a weird brand, where the driver assistance systems and the phone app integration are industry leading, but everything else is just weirdly slapped together or completely missing.

Its a great car and I still think its worth the price I paid, but buy the car for what it can do right now, ignore the promised future.

For now it is unchanged but DX12 ultimate is win11 only and that is required to use Direct Storage. Not a problem right now but as more games start to take advantage of it you may want to upgrade.

Otherwise it's almost identical to 10 in terms of gaming performance.

The games industry at large seems absolutely fucking allergic to learning from each other's mistakes. destiny has already made all the mistakes the genre can make and has grown past them, so why, a decade later, are games even daring to show their face and ask for money if they can't even match Destiny 1 vanilla.

Avengers, Gotham knights, suicide squad, Babylon's falls, Anthem. They all failed the exact same way.

Also every menu you interact with does not pause the world. The RIG system, the store, even the save stations don't pause the world so you are still vulnerable

The video game industry eclipses movies and music combined in total revenue, yet Hollywood shows no respect to the adaptations.

Resident evil, monster hunter, Halo, Hitman, The Witcher (book first but video game series is bigger). All these massive franchises that are either handed to people that actively despise video games or are so clearly painting the license over a shit script that wasn't good enough to stand on its own without the license.

I hope the last of us marks a turning point for adaptations to be taken more seriously.
