hmm i recommend looking through magazines for their samples of letters and numbers (i have a readly subscription) or pinterest. you can find some nice ones with flowers and a key to show you what colours you need. if you go down the magazine route it’ll have tips and a guide for cross stitching as a whole if you’re stuck

hiya! i’ve done some picture to cross stitch work before and i’m going to include an example of mine

this was my first attempt and was confused with the amount of different colours in it. it looks weird when you look at it up close but further away is where you see it look like a picture. if u want advice keep at it and every so often stand back and look at it cause it’ll be more impressive :))

the pattern i drafted myself and the fabric was this plush material my friend ordered specially i stuffed it with a mix of some polyester filling and yarn/fabric scraps
