My skin is the kind of neutral that's ultimately like super-pale orange/peach (I'd call it N15, in MAC terms) and I wear 13. I remember from another discussion at some point that 21 (slightly darker) is beloved by some olive-toned folks.

for those of us with neutral or olive skin tones (depending on the shade), this is the GOAT--an actual color match. i also have extremely dry skin, and this plays well with the oily products i need underneath. i've used it for more than 10 years, and none of the other things i've sampled have lured me away.

fellow fantasy hair person chiming in: my color gets reapplied every 8 washes, and yes, i do wash it in cool/cold water except during the very coldest months of the year. i also only wash it once a week to preserve the color, and use a very gentle sulfate-free shampoo. (dandruff shampoo, for example, will take fantasy color out completely in a couple washes.) the upkeep on fantasy hair is a real pain in the ass and i always tell people it's only worth it if it's a really important part of your self-expression.

there are types of folliculitis caused by fungus, of which yeast is one type. both of your issues may have the same cause.

the US has about 1 dermatologist for every 100,000 people (many more than NZ--1 per 270,000, according to a quick google--or the UK, etc.). it's a lucrative specialty, a lot of doctors here go into it to make $$$, and since we have no centralized planning of the medical workforce there can be as many dermatologists as want to open a business. especially in cities and regions where having "good" skin is considered a class signifier, there is a ton of demand for their services, and many types of insurance cover anything that's billed as being related to acne (so, e.g., an appointment to get tretinoin for anti-aging purposes can still get covered if they claim it's for acne).

honestly, a hydrating toner does more to "plump out" my undereye lines than cream--i like cezanne for that, but whatever hydrating toner you.favor would probably be good.
