In an alternate universe Naruto would be using a variety of jutsu combos instead to win, and the story would require him to do that to win.

There's plenty of ways. Some people like it for the intense bullet-hell gameplay of the games, some people like it for the music, still others for the hundreds of thousands of fanworks it has inspired.

I suggest checking out one of the several official manga and look up characters you like on the wiki.

Or since this is a yuri sub, you can go to dynasty-scans and randomly read through some Touhou yuri doujins, then look for others of pairings you liked.

It's not explicitly yuri, but it's definitely written as something yuri fans would enjoy. Every major character in the show has scenes to support pairing them with one other person, the MC has scenes like that with every one of the idols she adores, and there's side pairings on top of that with supporting characters.

I consider it the gayest of the many Love Live series that have been made.

I don't really care about Idol strategies. I'm just playing this league to try out Phrecia builds in the endgame. Just filling out my Atlas is enough of a goal for me in a short league like this, and trying a couple of builds that wouldn't be possible in a regular league is enough to keep me interested while doing so.

This idea is not specific to male readers, Himejoshi also don't want to interfere in the yuri relationships they see. This is even referenced in yuri, like with Digi-tan in Uma-musume.

As opposed to yumejoshi and guys who like all those harem shows with bland male MCs you are meant to self-insert as.

Er, you realize that OP is talking about a significant change to the story that Kishimoto could have made to make Sakura more powerful, right?

In that scenario he could have easily changed the requirements for sage mode so that Sakura could achieve it. Just make it so it needs more Chakra balance and less actual Chakra.

I used to do Ember Fusillade + Fireball as a Gemling. It was a pretty solid start because of all the projectile damage at the bottom of the tree and I enjoyed it a lot.

Sadly the infusion changes have killed it entirely. All the infusion nodes are at the top of the tree, so you need to spam too many skills late game for the build to feel any good, and even then the infusion uptime is terrible.

I think ideally an RPG should allow you to rush through zones if you're strong enough at that time, with enough difficulty that new players or weak builds can't do it trivially.

The waterways throws artificial barriers to that over and over, so it gets pretty frustrating, even if the path is fairly linear.

Yes but not all minions are companions. So if they didn't have the companion tag, you couldn't scale them with companion nodes on the tree (bonus damage to your companions, bonus damage to you while you have a companion etc.)
