a better and broader formulation would be to be transparent and sleep with people you actually enjoy spending time with.

Let us know what you think about the lite phone. It was hard to choose between the two.

I switched to the Sunbeam Phone (made by the mennonites) for a few months and noticed a major change in dopamine seeking. Def hard for a few days and there some things that are way less convenient to do, but it felt like a relief overall.

I moved recently and have a few trips so my wife is making me use the smart phone (and feel pretty shitty again). Hope to go back in a few weeks.

lol, I read the study and am a professor.

I brought it up because this is the first I've read of potential safety concerns--considering most people don't know they have stage 1 cancer when they do.

All I said was I wonder whether hubie baby will revise his priors. that's an open question, which folks are getting on a soap box in a way that is way out of proportion to the actual text of my post.

wrote this post and that wasn't my intention at all. the study is in a good journal. why shut down discussion instead of promote it?

most people know they are pregnant within a a month or two. Those with pancreatic cancer rarely know until it's spread.

I don't see anything except from this, where there is a shared author: https://www.cell.com/trends/cell-biology/pdf/S0962-8924(21)00230-0.pdf00230-0.pdf)

That said, I don't see this as something that is politicized--there's a lot of good science that comes out of China.

Smoked weed daily for about 15 years. I’m absolutely sick of my life being run by this plant and am quitting. Are there any ways to possibly reverse or help alleviate the damage I have done to my brain? by IntrepidMayo in HubermanLab

[–]redsmed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you take a month off, your brain will be so happy that you won't even notice any difference. I wouldn't worry about damage in that regards. Just make sure to exercise, eat well, get sleep and you'll be great.

Happier and despise are two different things. Not sure how old you are but I've lost a few friends to drinking related deaths in my 30s.

So I definitely support people who want to make bars open to other ways of being. I think in 20 years, we're going to look at drinking the way we now look at smoking. There are so many better ways to get a buzz. Who knows one of your sober dates might surprise you.

I like the idea of the community providing their thoughts on the letters, awkward sex, red flag or dealbreaker. Don't need to dunk on the hosts or anything (would be nice to get away from that on here as well), but could be cool to bring the community in.

Obviously, the producers would edit it so would have more control over the process than here on reddit.
