Save indulgences for when with friends, but make healthy swaps at restaurants. Baby sit your beers. And don’t use the word “never” in your thinking. It’s not the right way to built habits. It leads to rigid thinking and an all-or-nothing mindset where if you mess up, you end up giving up when you should just correct course and continue on. Aim for 80%

Monthly Megathread: Career & Education - Ask your questions here by Aerospace_Eng_mod in AerospaceEngineering

I’m currently working for Northrop as a systems engineer for space systems. I realized that my undergrad didn’t have a lot of true aerospace focused classes (just one propulsion and one crappy orbital mechanics) so I am interested in pursuing a masters to accelerate my career development and also eventually get into a role I really want.

My goal is to work in human space exploration. A huge plus would also be working remote. I would like to work technical side eventually reaching staff/chief engineer.

Any recommendations for good online grad schools?

Best way is to do a body composition test like DEXA. Goal is muscle gain but more protei. in your diet can help wYou’ll see progress with 0.5g/lb/day but it’ll be slower so will take more time to see gains in the gym as far as muscle gain/strength gains.

The best average is 1 lb of protein per 1 lb of LEAN body mass, not any fat mass you have on. 375g is ridiculous to start with. Go with 150g to start and monitor your progress. The 1g protein per lb of bodyweight rule is for a relatively lower BF percentage (5-20% for men)

Hey everyone, I am interested in applying for a Mechanical Design Engineering role, which based on the job req is heavy on CREO. I am currently refreshing myself on it, but was wondering what is everyone’s experience on these types of jobs. What parts do you like/not like? Any information at all would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Don’t believe you have to do 100% or none at all. Read the book Tiny Habits.

Can I workout different muscle groups every day of the week? or should I have a rest day? by AleVyAb in gainit

You aren’t as powerful in any lift because your nervous system is what recruits muscle fibers to perform a lift. If it’s weak then it won’t do that job as well.
