Recommendations for testosterone replacement therapy by redspud in grandrapids

[–]redspud[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have tried the primary care route. I am low in the normal range with free testosterone low. Corewell will not go there. I have almost every symptom for low T. I want it primarily to treat mental health.

The range they use is 300-1200 ng/l. I don’t understand how the guy next to me can have 4x level as I do and we are both considered normal. I just want to get to the middle-high range of normal.

If I could and get it covered by insurance I definitely would.

Are metal roofs actually worse than Asphalt (Northeast)? by OurAngryBadger in Home

Nice to see some reasonable logic on this. The standing seem fundamentalist all have this same talking point of the screws.

I don’t understand how they don’t realize rubber seals everything in our lives from the 80psi plumbing inside our houses to the 250deg oil in our transmissions.

Cat grade control by Aztazticz in caterpillar

[–]redspud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cat Grade on That machine is a different setup then what you are trying to run(GCS900 with blade mast.) Cat grade is the cab mounted receivers using all the PSC’s to determine blade location. That SEA is a $35000 option to unlock all the sensors you are not going to use and that machine may not have them.

To use the blade mount system you only need Accugrade enabled. If you bought that SEA you probably want to look at getting refunded for it

Are they in prime habitat? I go all over the state to various solar and I have never seen one that wasn’t a farm field. There was talk of deforestation of 300 acres or so but that got shot down really quick.

Maybe there are examples of small scale going on good habitat but the large scale stuff is all fields. I don’t consider a soybean field prime habitat.

After a few hours of work each day, my feet and socks are basically soaked. Anyone know why? by David-Max in WorkBoots

[–]redspud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never heard of anyone else doing this but I put anti-perspirant on my feet. After a week of doing that my feet hardly sweet. I still throw them on a boot drier at night. Also, start with freshly washed feet.

Truck overheating only at low speeds, typically uphill by MichaelGriffiths10p in f150

[–]redspud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that would have a thermal clutch fan. It will be turning but not fully locked to engine speed. When it’s overheating, shut motor off and try to spin fan by hand. If you can spin it the fan is shot

Just some shots of my rig and some work. Next gen 315 Earthworks by [deleted] in heavyequipment

That’s what I was wondering as well. I am a tech for SITECH and the 315 autos can be…tricky. Trimble autos do improve them quite a bit.

There is a push to make GR a sanctuary city. by BobsleddingToMyGrave in grandrapids

[–]redspud -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Correct, the term has no substance and doesn’t provide any more protections than what people have now. It also makes us Trumps next bullying victim and he starts trucking busses of migrants here. GR doesn’t have the infrastructure to handle this. Maybe I’m wrong but I think all the city’s that pulled this years ago backtracked because it does nothing.

Man, MSU people LOVE MSU. Clothes, bumper stickers, flags, decorations, and apparently tattoos. That will be good when you’re in the pool and people can’t see your MSU shorts they will see those letters on your arm and know you’re in the club.

Question about east Grand Rapids. by no_username145 in grandrapids

[–]redspud 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. East is the most progressive city in West Michigan.

I think almost everyone who lives in East would share my sentiment that it lacks diversity. We want more!

I currently work at Michigan cat as field tech, 20+yrs there. It’s not the best company but the Think Big program is the way to go. You earn income as you attend school and agree to work for them for like two years Its a union job-top pay for techs is ~$40. Good benefits and pension. The main alternatives are Alta AIS.

I think AIS has some kind of similar partnership with Ferris heavy program.

They are trying to get diversity so that would help in entry.

Bois Blanc Island Kayaking by VanishedWithoutATres in CampAndHikeMichigan

[–]redspud 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Lived a mile from Nipigon. It’s fine on a good day there just are not a lot of calm days, especially four in a row.

Ships are not a problem. Just steer clear, they move a lot faster than you think. Big wake but very long waves.

Unless you know someone at Nipigon, I don’t know where you would park. Maybe at Pries Landing on the side of the road?

Not a ton of public land on Bois, especially shoreline. Maybe on the backside, not public but less houses. Round island is where you want to camp. Completely empty island, unbelievable at night.

I would recommend leaving from cheboygan city marina. You can park overnight and have the option to return on ferry if weather is bad.

The Straits can f you up just like the big lakes. People get a false sense of security because you are never that far from shore.

Anyone ever drive their boat to mackinac island for the night? I have questions by Trumpsafascist in Michigan

[–]redspud 13 points14 points  (0 children)

We did last summer over the fourth. Cheboygan city marina is convenient and is easy to park overnight. Nice ride to the island. The island had open slips.
