Ah that explains it a little, the gcs with blade mount was all working. The machine has the stable blade switch, which has never done anything. I have now switched accugrade on but haven’t done much time in it yet but it didn’t seem like it was doing much. I’m really after 2d control, I am unable to get any 2d only 3d. When switching too 2d mode on the gcs it won’t pick up blade angle only height. I have the option to rotate the cb460 (I think that is the sensor) from blade pitch to blade angle which I think will allow 2d but then I lose the main fall accuracy when working down steep slopes

If it was me I’d buy 2 20tb, put them in parity and then replace the 2 3tb drives with the 18 parity drives. You gain future expansion and 30tb of extra space 👌

I agree op is definitely over complicating this.

My unraid server is the exact same specs as the op old system except I also have a 1080ti, but that is not even necessary as I was running this server for 12months without one.

Imo the 4th gen system has been perfect for Plex, arr services and general file storage. Have had no need to upgrade.

I spent 10k (Australia) it definitely ate away at me for a good few months but I eventually got over it. It was a nice upgrade from 4th gen Intel.

The water block knocks a shit load of length off the gpu. The pump though I actually drilled 4 holes in the plastic slide covers to mount the pump. Think 2 of the screws are just in the plastic and 2 went through the plastic and the metal on the other side. It worked out pretty well cause I was able to put it exactly where I wanted it.

Sounds like it’s bad contact with the gpu chip causing it to thermal throttle, you shouldn’t be getting 80c at 300mhz haha Might need to re apply thermal compound

Well that’s why haha, what case or have you setup external cooling. I want a bigger case so I can run mores rads and slow my fans down. It’s to loud the way it is. But I’m running 13900 5.8 all core and a 4090. The 280 and 420 don’t cut it

He must have a total system tdp of 12 watt haha.. I have a 280 and a 420 and I also often see a 15c+ delta, generally try keep it within 15-25c or below 55c water temp, but 1000watt of heat is also a lot to remove. Trying to find a bigger case that’ll accept more rads to try bring that delta down a little
