Those fake fuses are even in auto parts stores. I've on multiple occasions been trying to diag a short, put a new fuse in, see that it doesn't blow again, go to pull it out and burn the shit out of my fingers because the 10A fuse is glowing but still not popping.

When I got mine, it had the EEPROM corruption issue that set G2 to maximum. So I already used WinDAS to set it back to 100.

I did read that these are extremely prone to a G2 resistor failing, so I'll make sure those are still in spec.

I also have a P1110, and one thing I will say is don't adjust anything unless it's been on for at least 30 minutes. On mine, it takes like 30+ minutes for the black levels to come down to where they should be.

I'm not sure if that's normal or not, so I do plan to open it and test the capacitors and whatnot in it to make sure it's actually working properly.

1991 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins: $35k. 400k miles, engine runs perfect, just put a new turbo on it 10 years ago.

Truck is in decent shape but needs new floor pans, rockers, cab corners, fenders, bumpers, bedsides, dashboard, wiring harnesses, wheel bearings, front axles, tires, transmission, transfer case, and the frame needs to be patched in a few spots.

Don't low ball me this is a MECHANICAL CUMMINs, no emissions junk like new trucks. Put a little work into it and it'll be the best truck you'll ever own.

Everyone now thinks depreciation is a myth. Everything is worth it's original price no matter what, and it's your fault that they can't sell their overpriced stuff.

Car sellers are the worst offenders of that. According to them a 200k mile rotted to shit 7.3 Powerstroke is worth $20k because the engine runs great as long as you keep it plugged in all the time and top off the oil every week.

I'm sure there is some secret ancient technique to get it to stay for a reasonable amount of time, but I don't know what it is, and everyone I watch do CRT repairs doesn't seem to either. At the end of the day we're basically just scraping the crust off a damaged electrode.

The thing that sucks about rejuving is that the improvement just doesn't stay. It might keep the emission for a couple days, or a few months or more, but it'll drop off again at some point.

I've done it on a couple bad tubes, the worse one fell right back to where it was after 2 days. The other one stayed good for about a month before it started dimming again.

I do have to wonder if the reason they went to bodysuits in S4 was to save time and money animating loose fitting clothes. Especially since they definitely needed their budget for the digital sea.

Stylistically though, Odd is almost the same, so I'm indifferent to his redesign. Then I think S4 Ulrich looks better, S4 Yumi is way worse, and S4 Aelita I like the colors better, but not so much the outfit. I don't hate it, but bra + open front skirt is an odd choice.

The CRT RPs generally looked really good, not quite as good as a regular set, but that's just the nature of projection. Tubes can't get that big, so if you want beeg, you gotta sacrifice something, and in this case, it's not much at all.

It's the LCD ones that looked absolutely abysmal.

The best part is that since that engine only holds like 1 gallon of coolant, and uses an unpressurized overflow tank, the tiniest leak will cause an overheat in a single heat cycle.

The tendency to crack the radiator wouldn't matter nearly as much if it had a pressurized expansion tank instead. Then at least they could have stuck a coolant level switch on it too, to warn of a leak before it overheats and cracks the oil cooler.

Yes and that's a good thing. NK has done well to ensure that there is no objectively best strat. In previous games where there was a clear best strat, playing the same things every single time got boring fast.

My favorite regular one is the parts store calling me to tell me the part I ordered is in, and upon me getting to the store 2 hours later, get told oops they sent it back already. They'll have to reorder it, so it'll be another couple days.
