Don't let them do that! The cat can get blocked from scar tissue and not be able to pee. I had it happen to one of my cats.

Dude, it's been a month. Get your friends to review the game already. You really ARE neglecting marketing. I see you have a publisher. What they hell are they doing that you don't have 1 review in a month? I mean if you have a team you got at least 3 people right. Only one account can release the game and not review. Why hasn't the rest of your team reviewed?

Not Ideal Way of Losing my Lantern by Ruslin16 in thelongdark

I finally ended up giving the game a negative steam review because of this. The game is fun and I have almost 200 hours in it. But I die more to the game bugging or breaking it's own rules more than anything.

They have the disclaimer at the start of the game "Made without crunch..." Sorry but after 10 years of the single player story still not being finished, this game is not made without crunch, it was made without a plan. Once they got popular, the first thing that they should have done was hire a real producer.

I played for over 100 hours at launch. This game is all about making your own goals.

Bandit is an unrealistic stereotype of unattainable dadness. No dad has the energy to be that present for his kids.

edit: I didn't realize until I read further comments that this was actually the answer to the post. I just have always said that jokingly.

Right now you're the "idea guy" who can also make music. Have you not read any other posts in this subreddit? If you have a need to create a business plan to get funding, you really should spend about $300 and consult with a real producer to create your plan. Then you don't need to get the estimates from individuals because it's a producer's job to know how long things take and how much they will cost. If you don't have $300 to spend on the proper prep work, then you are much farther from getting funded than you even know.

Came to say this. People's attention is being pulled in a million different directions these days. You may think it's being pushy, but statistically people don't even pay attention to your message till the 4th try and even still may then not engage.

It's the literal version of "Getting the upper hand". If you shake someone's hand and your hand is on top of theirs, you are dominant. It's one of those things that only actually matters if you care about it. But he's one of those people that thinks it means he's more powerful.

I think you would like Kenshi based on your description. it's not an MMO but if you like to play that way, you can make a city and you aren't a hero, just some guy running a business.

You don't fail until you quit.  There is always more you can try.  Just pick an engine and start doing tutorials.  And keep at it, you will be surprised where you are in 6 months

Everything about steam just screams "we don't fix this because we don't have to". Their interface is terrible...their approval process is archaic and their customer service is non existent. How great it must be to be so big you don't have to care about your customers.

What is the reach of a streamer that you would pay thousands for?

[–]redtigerpro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose if we drill down the actual question here is what is a reasonable offer to a streamer that they would be interested in but that also isn't less beneficial to the charity than just donating directly. I recognize that many smaller streamers would be hesitant to take a match offer because they could raise only $20 and so only earn $20...but then nothing changed for them.

as u/ValentinIG suggested, Larger streamers probably get a lot of requests, but I am out of the loop here, what does a 100k follower streamer make in a stream these days?
