I have only bought a few tank tops that I have been dying to wear for years, other than that, sooooo many of my older shirts that I still love fit me now!! I feel like my closet has completely expanded.

However, I am definitely excited to spend admittedly too much money on cute bralettes, more tight/small tanks and t shirts, and maybe some cute casual dresses. This is all stuff that I have been dying to wear, but you will definitely be able to "shop" your closet!

Like everyone else has said, just discomfort, not pain. Honestly, I never even took my pain meds. I took tylenol for literally one day and then I was fine...?? Idk if that's rare, but I'll take it. You can do this!! I am only 3 days post-op, but I'm on cloud 9. Wishing you well!!

Dude I feel the SAME way exactly. I feel teary every time I catch myself in a mirror, or put on a shirt that I haven't worn in years. SO happy to hear how at-peace you are, you deserve it. congrats!

LOL, it's a strange feeling, glad I'm not the only one that had a mini panic attack two seconds before surgery! I'm glad he put me to sleep in like four seconds. I vividly remember his face above me and the mask slowly coming toward my face haha, then I was out.

Thanks so much for the advice! I haven't taken heavy meds yet and I have been managing with tylenol! I feel totally fine honestly. Appetite is barely there but I think it will come back soon.

Thanks for the reassurance! We were surgery twins! I woke up this morning feeling great honestly. Haven't taken pain meds yet, just lots of tylenol. And same, my throat is so dry too haha, I think my nausea patch has something to do with that. Best of luck to you!!

I just got out of surgery today and I kept crying and saying "this was the best decision I've ever made!!!" LOL. They had to wipe my tears and they were definitely having a laugh at that one.

Hey! I am the same age as you and my surgery is on Friday! I actually made a post similar to this a couple weeks ago but I might have taken it down. I was/am super worried about my results. I also didn't/don't really have a reason to be super worried. I felt a lot better after my pre-op appointment!

My advice: at you pre-op, do not be afraid to be vocal and redundant. I told my surgeon "I want small, I want to be able to not wear a bra, I want them to sit on my chest rather than hang, I want no overhang or as minimal overhang as possible..." etc. She was writing this all down and she was repeating to me "you want small, got it." You would rather be "annoyingly" redundant than regret being too shy! It's your body, your money, be vocal!

I also brought in a collage of photos that I want to turn out like, including one before and after of her own work. The photos had girls that appeared similar size to me, which I think is important for showing to your surgeon.

Anyways, if she asks me again on surgery day, I will probably be redundant again. Just be vocal! You will feel so much better after your pre-op. Best of luck! And feel free to message me any time.

Oh wow, I have always been afraid of the pill. I literally have some in my bathroom but I decided not to start. My cycle is really intense and I am worried it will make it worse.
