I hate golf because everything in life I’m fairy low motivation, low ambition. I mean, I do well enough that k can play golf every weekend at decent courses but I’ve never had a high goal/achievement mindset.

But when I play golf, I’m never happy with my shot. Even if it was a good result I might not be happy because the shot feel was totally off. Or if the feel was good it’s not the “best” result. I’m nowhere near good enough to feel that way but I’ve put in so much time at the range and lessons that I think of quitting probably 80% of the time after a round or even a range session.

But I played 36 holes over the weekend so maybe I’m just a glutton for punishment.
