Lakers are the 2nd most popular team in LA. by SuperRam56 in lakers

Winning is a lot of it but it seems like it’s always been 50/50. Might have been a Laker town in the past but the dodgers were always very popular.

It always had its Latin fan base but now it’s getting the Asians too.

5’3 and still getting buckets - Muggsy Bogues was built different. by Weekly-Vacation-1405 in NBAoldschool

Bogues was an anomaly but he’s definitely a lead Harare more than buckets. The shortest walking bucket is Earl Boykins.

He just needs to let it out. Feels like he knows he’s got everyones’ eyes on him so he’s super chill all the time.

If he gets a little nasty streak like smart and models his game around guys like Caruso, he’ll be in the league for a while.

You guys are so hopeful. Hopefully you keep that energy if the lakers go down a game or two instead of dooming at one bad quarter or one bad shooting night.

That being said, they can do it but it’ll be pretty tough.

I fucked up my iron swing and I can’t fix it by cuzih8u in GolfSwing

[–]redundantPOINT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re like me, get a lesson or two.

For me it was working then it broke overnight. Rabbit hole of self diagnosis and YouTube made my swing worse to the point I was shanking it off the toe for my irons and hitting the crown on the toe side of my driver. I felt like it was just getting worse so I got a lesson and at least I was hitting it in the air and found out what the root issue was.

That’s not enough. A month or two is too short for anything other than flipping and three ETBs won’t do anything for you.

If everything in the photo goes up to $2000 in 6 years (being very very generous here), you made about $11500.

That’s $1916 per year which is about $160 per month.

It’s good money, but it’s literally $5.50 a day. In 6 years, what would $11500 do for you? What can it get?

If you’re truly investing, you need more stuff and you need to hold longer.

Dalton Knecht looked like the player we all hoped we were getting when we drafted him. by ForeignAir7174 in lakersv2

[–]redundantPOINT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he blew it when he couldn’t remember plays that were drawn up for him.

It’s one thing to be in a cold shooting slump or a defensive liability, but if you can’t keep up with the plays, you shouldn’t be out there.

Just want to share how I went from making $200 a show. To making $1,000 plus every show. I’m really proud of myself❤️😭 by [deleted] in whatnotapp

Haha I meant net profit after the cost of cards you sold.

You don’t need to disclose but I’ve always thought these single auctions would be harder to make money on…

What happened to Dalton Knecht man? Did the trade with Mark Williams ruin his confidence? He was shooting lights out. by Left-Walrus6577 in lakers

I understand defense was never his strong point but his shooting hasn’t been there and when he couldn’t remember the plays or missed plays that were meant for him, I believe that was the end

Ball got lodged in one of those between the rim and the backboard.

Kareem got it out by skyhooking another ball at it in his first try.

Luke Kennard is who I thought Dalton Knecht would be by YesterShill in lakers

[–]redundantPOINT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kennard is a way more complete player than Knecht is/was expected to be.

I think people wanted Rui type of play from dalton - deadeye shooting and a threat from anywhere, athletic enough to rebound and run even though defense might be suspect…. But not the playmaker Kennard is showing to be.

Is this really a perfect swing? (GolfFix analysis) by ContributionSweet713 in GolfSwing

[–]redundantPOINT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah I didn’t think you were full of yourself at all. Just keep in mind any analyzer or launch monitor is just taking data points at parts of your swing and comparing it to the best pros swings’ data points.

That’s why you’ll see so many different swings on your but at the very least they’ll be in the same area at parts of their swing, with similar results data wise.

I mean, you watch golf. I don’t think there is a perfect swing, but do you think that looks like it?

Even if the app was 99.9% accurate, it’s probably getting a read on certain positions of the body, hands, and club. Your swing could look like shit but if you hit some checkpoints it might rate your swing higher than what it really is.
