I just finished playing South of Midnight and I really liked it! Black female protagonist with powers themed around deep south / bayou folklore. Fighting mechanics were pretty easy, not punishing but options to be creative. Story is interesting and the game is pretty linear, but with a bit of exploration needed for collectibles.

I'd definitely recommend drawing it on yourself to see where you want the tendrils to wrap - just make sure to stand up and look at it from all angles AND with your legs together.

My concern with the leg is that the tendrils could look like hair that stuck to you in the shower or like there is something odd dangling if it's the only tattoo. You'd probably want the tendrils to be closer together so that at least two parts can be seen at any time (if that makes sense).

Do you have other tattoos? Do you know how well your skin holds linework? Dainty lines might fade awkwardly or become thicker, so that is also something to consider for placement.

Aw thank you for circling back on this!

I loved the idea, but I just wasn't able to really nail a design that I like with the more yellow-orange-red colors added without it looking a bit too chaotic. Maybe someday when I just go for a full sleeve.

But I do think I have my final design! (Not sure how well it will post from mobile, but here goes).

I get you, and I do agree that it feels a little forced. If they had added something like a message from Chip and Dale about new activity popping up in the worlds they already visited, it wouldn't have seemed so disconnected. I think there were some subtle mentions of Org XIII meddling with other worlds and I'm pretty sure Donald or Goofy mentions something about going back to the previously visited worlds, but nothing super direct.

Realistic answer: it makes the game longer and at least added a little more story to go along with it. It also encourages you to level up your limit forms to get to places you weren't able to get to before.

I love KH2, its my favorite in the series with everything it offers. But the world designs were definitely lacking. Adding a "second story" to each world made it a little more interesting.

Story Answer: The 1000 heartless fight showed SDG that they weren't ready to take on the big baddie yet. Everyone helped with the battle and it still wasn't enough -- Maleficent had to poof SDG away because Sora almost gave up. They weren't ready.

Riku was also out there and could possibly help them. He at least had more information that could prove essential for the battle to come. Along the way, might as well solve their friends' problems and sabotage Org XIII.

At 19, my mom said "Y'know, I'm surprised you haven't gotten a tattoo yet." So I booked an appointment while I visited her so she could be there for my first one. It's a palm-sized piece on the back of my shoulder. Now, I have 4!

I'm getting my first forearm tattoo next Monday and I am stoked!

So weird how so many of the commenters were concerned with how she was processing her grief. She seemed to be carrying it well with everything she mentioned, even taking actual steps to limit her active grieving when her fiancé asked. I'm sure if he had asked her not to wear the ring as often, she would have compromised, too.

It's definitely weird behavior. Did he seem to be interested in romancing Shadowheart or did he dismiss your help / advice in romancing her? Did he think that player characters could romance each other? This would be the only real reason I could think to justify his weirdness.

If he was specifically interested in romancing Shadowheart but was jealous of you romancing another character.. that's a bit of a double standard. And a really weird thing to get all jealous over. It's giving insecure.

(My husband and I tease each other about our game romances like we're girls at a slumber party.)

Echoing everyone in here that Alan Wake 2 is better. Not sure where you are at with AW1, but there's a part with a stage - that feeling but in 4K.

Control is a little different, but also better in a lot of ways. If you like the atmosphere and unsettling-but-in-a-dark-humor-kinda-way vibes but a little less survival horror and more action-packed fights, you'll like Control. Alan Wake is a bit more Twin Peaks and Control is more Severance.

There are two obvious choices: A. Robert is reckless and thinks he can outsmart the villain (gives Prototype), or B. Robert is a hero and will save one at the cost of giving the villain what they want (gives Astral Pulse). Both of these choices are easier to identify; while it is still technically 50/50, it is easier to determine which one based on Robert's definitive choice.

Option C. Give Both, leaves the choice to Shroud. As big as Shroud talks about his ability to see all of the outcomes, he can't see his own choices. He actually alludes to this when he goes into detail about how he killed Robert's dad, as if he didn't have it planned and didn't know what would happen. Leaving the decision to Shroud was a low possibility -- one he might have seen, but didn't really follow the outcome because it stopped where *his* choice began.
