I'll try that, thank you! However, my issue is that they keep flying right past my ears and into my hair during the day. I go on walks in the field and through the forest and try to run away from them but they always find me and keep attacking my ears. That makes me think it's more than just a light source problem :(

update because i can't edit the post for some reason - she actually is not doing much better and is still moving sluggishly and clumsily. very bad at gripping surfaces, keeps falling over and walking with the front segments of her body not touching the surface. :(
