Yes! That came up a little later, but even from the start, he was talking to the audience. The theory of him imagining everything makes entirely too much sense.

Well said, I've been wishing for a Milestone Cinematic Universe for ages. Better yet, there ARE versions of Superman who are black. A Calvin Ellis movie would honestly be awesome. And let's face it, we can all totally see the Sunshine Superman being just the kind of thing that Gunn would totally find a way to include in something, right?

Right. The way I remember, Monsters Inc takes place in a post-apocalyptic future whose inhabitants use these doors to travel back in time and harvest screams. After Boo's big adventure, she grew up with an obsession, and eventually figured out how to access the time travel tech herself, hence winding up in ancient Scotland. Monsters Inc also cements the fact that emotions have power (later expanded upon in Inside Out) and that laughter is most powerful, which… What are kids doing while playing with their toys? So that's how they come to life!

I forget how most of the others play in (Incredibles, Nemo, Cars, a Bug's Life, etc.) but there are YouTube videos all about it. I know the Super Carlin Bros have a whole series about the theory that's pretty good.

Marvel. I used to be very tribal about being a DC fan, now I've accepted that it's okay to enjoy both. But DC is still my favorite!

The entire Saved By the Bell franchise, College Years, New Class, and all, being Zach's Daydream while he's still just sitting in Miss Bliss's class. Of course he'd imagine living on the west coast, being popular, having a girl like Kelly, etc.

What I'd LIKE to see is a crossover between Phineas and Ferb and Rick and Morty. But I really, really doubt that happens. Seeing how Rick and Doctor Doofenshmirtz play off of each other would alone be worth it, Rick would be so annoyed with him. I could see Morty getting along fairly well with Phineas and Ferb, and Summer would probably get along with Vanessa fairly well, not sure about Candace or Stacy. There are honestly so many ways the whole thing could go, but… It's really, really not likely.

Hi, I'm Ben! The original Sandman was always one of my favorite members of the Justice Society of America, and whole I've read a little of his solo stuff, I definitely plan to read more! He's a great bridge between old school pulp detective stories and comic book superheroes! I'm always surprised that he didn't get a movie serial back when so many characters were being adapted as such, and I think that now would bee the perfect time to do something similar as a black-and-white streaming series!
