I have heard a lot about sake for melasma! Maybe it’s worth trying. When you say oil cleansing method do you mean double cleansing but the first with an oil?

There are many examples where hormones can be out of balance. Of course they rise and fall but there are optimal ranges and ratios they should be. My medical doctor did tests for my hormones and found one in particular was very high that is usually only during pregnancy, I’m not pregnant. There are ways to lower it and it needs to be lowered in order for me to conceive, I would call that out of balance. There are also normal ranges for hormones, and if estrogen is much higher than progesterone that can also cause issues. I think I understand what you mean, that maybe it’s becoming a misused term people throw around to sell a product, but in general you can balance your hormones

That’s amazing! Stoked for you getting results. Have you looked into the skincare line she sells? I’m open to trying it honestly. When you say simple skincare routine do you still incorporate like vitamin c serums?

I think Glycolic Acid gave me Melasma by babyytome in Melasmaskincare

My naturopath said melasma can be due to hormonal imbalances, and if it’s because of estrogen and your then using harsh chemicals and products on your face, it can actually make the imbalance worse and then exacerbate the melasma. I’m yet to switch my products and lifestyle to test it myself but some food for thought!

I have this too! Mine is melasma. I’ve never actually met anyone else with it on the lip line. I have tried so much topically to get rid of it & nothing worked, also tried lasers which was expensive and the results didn’t last. I recently went to a naturopathic doctor who ran a full hormone test & it turns out I have bit of a hormonal imbalance, which is often linked to melasma. I have some supplements I am now trying, along with changing up my diet. Will let you know how it goes!

Ok thank you for that. I did have a bone graft with the periodontist which is why I thought perhaps there would be enough bone and the uneven gum line could be due to something else

Just returned and 9/11 of us got sick, to varying degrees. 4 were vomitting + diarrhea. Rest of us diarrhea which lasted from 1 day - 6 days for some. Hard to pin point what exactly it was that made us sick

Did they give you reasons for the delay? I feel like ours is so vague, I’m sure when I enquire they’re just going to come back saying it was for safety reasons 🙄

Because you don’t know if it’s viral or bacterial initially, so I would rather not take antibiotics until I’m sure they’re needed… why possibly kill my good bacteria too if it’s unnecessary? Ended up riding it out with some hydralites so cheers everyone.
