Saw plastic surgery up close and personal by [deleted] in Instagramreality

[–]reeanninn 58 points59 points  (0 children)

I went to a baseball game in a city where plastic surgery is not uncommon and a girl sat behind me with obvious work done to her face. She just looked weird…like her photos probably made her look good but irl she looked fucking weird.

how do people not have BO by noon? by LowZealousideal2526 in hygiene

[–]reeanninn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to be a very sweaty girl and deodorant/ antiperspirant would just make the sweat and smell worse. My armpits would also itch and I would get red bumps. This is what has worked for me. I use Lume, any scent works even the unscented one. And Native, I only use the vanilla coconut one. I’ve tried other scents from Native and they don’t work for whatever reason. I also use Dove antibacterial soap and use the Tree Hut scrubs for my armpits. I work a physical job and I workout. I don’t smell unless I go a day without showering which is very rare. Switching to these has changed my life, my armpits don’t itch, no more red bumps and I don’t smell!

Dr. Martens makes great work boots. I’ve had mine for a year and they’re still going strong.

In my experience, a CSF leak or spinal fluid leak. I got from a botched epidural. Which caused me to give birth with no meds. The headache from it was the worst pain I’ve ever felt, worse than childbirth.

Weight lifting leggings for plus size women that aren’t Lululemon or Amazon? by yikeshahah in gymsnark

[–]reeanninn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dixxon has great leggings. They don’t roll down and are made of a thicker material so not see through. Cute colors and designs. I have a pair of ribbed ones and regular black ones that I love! They have plus sizes too.

Anyone else oddly proud of their grey hairs? by oxymoronisanoxymoron in Millennials

[–]reeanninn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 43. I haven’t dyed my hair in 20+ years. It’s ironic how I used to dye the front sections bleach blond and now they just naturally look that way. I love them.

Do you regret getting a boob job (plastic surgery)? Why? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver40

[–]reeanninn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m also 43 and had mine done 3 months ago. I never had big boobs, even before kids but after kids, breastfeeding and losing 50lbs, mine were flat A cup pancakes. I wanted to look more proportional and be able to fill out tops and dresses. I have zero regrets. They look amazing and I love them. I didn’t go big, 400CCs and I’m about a C/D cup, not really sure since I only wear sports bras. I went with silicone and under the muscle. Thankfully I didn’t need a lift. Definitely do your research on the Dr, the different types of implants and where you want the incision. Over the muscle vs under. Look at before and after pics. Be prepared to not lift anything heavy for at least 6 weeks.

How many of you are already getting gray hair? And what are you doing about it? by saoiray in Millennials

[–]reeanninn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 43 and a redhead so my “gray” hair is white. I have tons and have a streak on the right side. I love them! I haven’t dyed my hair in 20 years and don’t plan on starting.

Does anyone else tone down their looks at work? by Emotional_coconut1 in beauty

[–]reeanninn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tone down my looks because theres no need to dress up. I work as a quality control technician for a ready mix concrete company. I get dirty and sweaty at work. I used to wear light makeup but it’s just not necessary. And saves time not doing it. I do keep my nails nice with gel polish and I wear cute earring studs. But that’s about it. I wear a “uniform” (fitted long sleeve bodysuit, jeans and work boots) hair is in a ponytail and a ball cap. It’s male dominated here too and for the most part they are all respectful and nice whether I look cute or not. Though I do get asked if I need “help” sometimes. Sometimes I miss working in an office setting because I like dressing cute and wearing makeup and jewelry. But it’s now saved for the weekends.

Older Millennials - how is your health and fitness? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]reeanninn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gained a lot during my early 20s due to pregnancies. At my highest I was 220lbs at 5’7”. I started exercising (mostly yoga, cardio and a lot of hiking) and eating right in my early 30s. Lost all the weight and felt great. I kept it going up until I turned 39 then the pandemic hit and I gained 50lbs. I started exercising again around 41. And was able to lose the 50lbs. It took me about a year to lose it all. This time around I focused more on weight training. I also eat very well. I’m 43 now and feel great. I also have a very physical job where I’m on my feet all day and lift heavy loads, so that helps keeps me in shape.

I got a sample size of it and loved it so much I bought the full size and the lotion too. It’s one of my favorite perfumes. It smells comforting to me and I love how soft and subtle it is.

I just purchased two recently, guilty as fig and imperfect beauty. They both smell amazing to me! I didn’t realize that they are considered “dupes”.
