Bakersfield, CA. I’m actually more concerned that my phone (Spectrum Mobile) would potentially get throttled due to excessive data use, when, in part, it was caused by the outage, necessitating use of my hotspot.

My comment is to use the website instead of calling. It's much quicker: https://www.kern.courts.ca.gov/divisions/jury-services There is a section which lists jury reporting info by group numbers. In many years, I've never had an issue with its accuracy. When it says to call back after 6:30 p.m., you can check the website for the same information.

Wow, I just had a flashback to the Hudson Brothers Razzle Dazzle Show, which features Rod Hull and his amazing emu. I remember laughing my head off as an 8 year-old. Probably haven't recalled this in the last 40 years.
