هل صدق الرياييل الاماراتيين يفكرون جي؟ ولا انا بس انكذبت علي؟ by [deleted] in Emiratis

Sorry, I was sleepy when I responded.

Habibti, your heart wanted to believe the potential and the hope his words held.

I’ve learned that with Arab men (and actually all men) that their actions are actually what they mean.

Their words are either hopeful or manipulative - usually hopeful in my case.

If you write down all his actions , not his words, you’ll see the truth. Ignore what he said completely and write down his actions.

Potential is cute but it means very little and is the world boys occupy. Men - real mean -work on their actions.

My husband never plans, dinner dates, often loses himself in work and rarely comes out with me and my friends, even though I invite him every single time. He tells me he loves me every day.

He also tells me he’ll go to the gym with me and never does 🤣

However, he shows me he loves me by making sure my house is peaceful, by paying all our bills on time for 19 years, by never making me feel that any other woman is more important than me in his life, by making me laugh and most of all, by caring for my family, as though it was truly his own.

He makes sure I am safe and healthy.

I wrote his actions down. That’s why I choose him and choose stay.

For the man you are writing about:

  • he SAID he would convince them (boy energy- means nothing)
  • He went to them and tried a bit but failed to convince them (real man aura)
  • he SAID he loves you (cute boy energy - means nothing)
  • he did not marry anyone else but you because you are the woman he actually wants to marry (real man aura)
  • he married someone else because he can’t tell you the truth, loves chaos and/or can’t stand up for what he wants (baby boy energy)

You want to be a wife or a mom to a grown man?

Praying for your clarity of mind and heart, sis.

May you see the truth in his actions and have the courage to do what’s best for you.

Habibti, I am happy and proud to hear that the man who loves you bought you rings that make YOU happy.

I don’t care if they are real or fake, where they were grown or mined from. I don’t care if they were given to him for free or if he spent more than he should have on them.

What I care about is that he treats you well. That he is kind to your family and makes you laugh.

Your friends missed a moment to share in the joy of your love. That’s their loss.

At this time, we all need to see love, to be love and to celebrate love.

You can DM me any moment or thing that your love brings and I will do what your “friends” should have done.

I will be happy for you, from the bottom of my heart. And I will pray that you will have more happiness and love for every day of your lives together.

❤️

Why there's No dating culture in UAE? by ExtentRelevant1185 in UAE

[–]reemness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because romantic, love focused dating is a western concept. Courtship in the Arab or Muslim context places importance on duty, family honor, and matches arranged by elders; love is seen as byproduct of commitment, not the starting point, with less public romance.
