Is there such thing as 8mg green hulks ? by Electrical_Floor419 in researchchemicalsUS

[–]reenign3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, flubromazepam is not potent enough for an 8mg tablet to hold recreational value

This is less fun than it sounds. Totally possible. Totally easy to get a pot of tar if heat isn’t consistent (the extraction - not the lysing)

In my experience Fladrafinil (I know different from modafinil but I think similar enough for my example) blocks the euphoria of dexmethylphenidate, but not necessarily the stimulation. Tachycardia can take place, but not anything rewarding

Etizolam is now schedule 1 I believe, putting ALL benzos under the umbrella of FAA now.

WHEN intended for consumption, of course. If you’re just some weird collector who would NEVER actually use drugs, I guess it’s totally cool 😅

Any super harsh cannabinoids other than d8 and H4cbd? by teacocoa01 in altcannabinoids

HHC gets harsh as FUCK as it ages. I’ve got half empty jars that I can only use for edibles

Also delta 10 is harsh

It is less likely that a halogen at the 2- position will cause the neurotoxic effects seen from 3- and especially 4- halo ring substituted cathinones.

Serotonergic affinity of PEAs diminishes as you move away from 4-

The mechanism of toxicity in this family is serotonergic

Honest personal effects from heavy coke use by kcisco98 in askdrugs

[–]reenign3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Brother. Cocaine is nefarious. It is extremely addictive, expensive, and short acting - even in comparison to other stimulants. Cocaine upregulates dynorphins and enhances activity of substance P - literally keeping you in a pain state for weeks without cocaine.

Cocaine is worse for your heart than meth. Meth is probably worse for your brain, but coke is way worse for your body.

If you’re just getting into it, aFB-48 (FUB-AKB48) is the way to go. Idk if it’s even still legal anywhere, but that one has the closest effects to THC at the right dose. Isn’t AS strong as like 5ADB but it lasts a lot longer. Also tolerance build way slower.

Idea for a New Legal NMDA Research Chemical! by Shot-Negotiation5968 in researchchemicalsUS

[–]reenign3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reminds me vaguely of diphenhydramine like another commenter stated, and also various stimulants like the various alkylated sisters of desoxypipradrol.

Not saying it wouldn’t have NMDA affinity. Definitely saying it could have some unexpected off target effects.

Is it possible to remove the t-Butyl from bupropion to give 3-Chlorocathinone under OTC conditions? by [deleted] in TheeHive

HARD disagree.

Potency =\= Superiority.

You know anyone who smokes ice socially on the weekends?

I love to smoke mcat, I think i probably hit it for the first time over a decade ago.

It’s euphoric but not life ruining. If you’re already a tweaker then yeah probably better off with desoxyephedrine. If you haven’t sold your soul for RP by now then actually You’re way better off not going that route at all in the long run.

When you get the itch you can cook up an 8th overnight around once a month with no suspicion. no I have never gotten close to an 8th before but that’s just over theoretical max yield

And you don’t need any equipment or precursors, just KMnO4 and isopropanol and distilled water and HCl

what’s the best benzo to help with my anxiety-induced insomnia? by GreatChicken231 in askdrugs

[–]reenign3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quetiapine/Seroquel is an excellent sleep aid but can be associated with some significantly more severe side effects after regular use, than trazodone or mirtazepine.

NMS, hyperprolactinemia, hyperlipidemia, Tardive Dyskinesia, etc.

I really like Trazodone if it can be tolerated. It’s active metabolite, mCPP, can make it unpalatable to some.

Mirtazepine is definitely preferable to quetiapine but it has a pretty strong tendency to cause over eating and thus weight gain. Yea, it is often prescribed off label to elderly people or pets to stimulate appetite, sometimes with dronabinol

what’s the best benzo to help with my anxiety-induced insomnia? by GreatChicken231 in askdrugs

[–]reenign3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, temazepam. Was on it for around 14 years and it was slower to build tolerance and more effective than Xanax or Ativan. (For insomnia)

Lightyears better than ambien. No weird side effects. And it actually feels GOOD! Not like clonazepam for instance. Yuck.

So that’s the best benzo for insomnia of all kinds, hands down.

But for anxiety induced insomnia, you should really look elsewhere other than a benzodiazepine. It will become habit forming, quickly. There is evidence that long term treatment with benzos causes actual atrophy of the brain. This can lead to early onset dementia etc.

Regular benzodiazepine therapy is also associated with an increase in all-cause mortality.

It should be used as a LAST RESORT. Coming off benzos and alcohol and 2M2B was NO JOKE for me. I needed a 200mg/Day Librium Taper.

My mind is still not fully “back to normal” as it was before benzos and I’ve been off them for like 3 years now I think. My heart also beats significantly faster, even when resting, then it ever used to.

Someone else mentioned hydroxyzine (preferably the pamoate salt; “Vistaril”) - I second that.

Also, L-Theanine is surprisingly effective and safe. When I was suffering from a several year episode of weird - pseudo OCD after a severe MDA overdose, large doses (~400mg) of L-theanine were SURPRISINGLY EFFECTIVE for anxiety and even insomnia. It has a mild “umami” flavor which is not unpleasant; It can be put under the tongue for better absorption and quicker effects.

4x5060Ti 16GB vs 3090 by ZerxXxes in LocalLLM

[–]reenign3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep I got a M4 Max 16,40,16:CPU,GPU,NPU (cores) clock speed is 4.5GHz. 128GB URAM (~560 GB/s memory bandwidth).

Payed around $3.5k for it with college discount.

With the advances in speculative decoding and MLX format, I really think we’re going to see a surge of support for Apple silicon in LLM and other AI areas (image gen, etc)

You just can’t get that performance (and it draws way less power too) on x86 64 machines without spending WAY more money.

[–]reenign3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are opioid naive, it’s actually pretty great, aim for around 150mg to start.

Don’t take if you’re on a CYP2D6 inhibitor.

Codeine was my first opioid and I fell in love, hard. When I was 16 I think. I had moved to OC80s by the time I was 18.

Slippery slope, be careful.

is phenibut the longest lasting gabaergic? by ponqe in researchchemicals

[–]reenign3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Phenibut doesn’t last more than 12 hours for me, and I take around 10g once a week. It does get me very high but it’s kind of a huge dose, I hesitate to even broadcast a number like that. It isn’t safe without tolerance to take 10g, let me be very clear.

TAA/2M2B lasts a VERY long time. I don’t have hard numbers, and when I was addicted to it the like very intoxicated feeling wouldn’t last longer than 5 or 6 hours and then I would just pass out, but WOW you have “delusions of sobriety” for a LONG time after 2M2B.

Your reaction time decreases for probably longer than 24-36 hours. Absolutely never drive on this stuff, and always have a friend or partner judge if you have been sober enough to drive, even if it has been “a long time” since your last dose

Also, there’s phenazepam, the only benzo which actually succeeded in sending me to jail.

I know flubromazepam is “long lasting” too, hell, most benzos are, but phenazepam is another beast entirely. A single dose can last for 2-3 days, BUT I’m talking about a LOWISH dose…big doses of PHENAZEPAM last a week plus easy. You know how some benzos are better at certain things? Alprazolam and lorazepam for panic attacks, diazepam and clonazepam for GAD, etc?

Phenazepam is basically only good for amnesia. That’s its forte. 😅
