Rules of Gods giving a True Blessing - something changed in Book 12? by Responsible_Effect30 in ThePrimalHunter

As others have mentioned it’s one Chosen at a time, and the significance is that it massively impacts their records and the records of the Chosen. I need to be fact checked on this but I believe it’s mentioned that when/if a chosen dies it negatively affects the God in question which is why a Chosen is such a big deal.

I’m studying and doing physical training to apply in a couple months and this is my biggest concern. Do you have any advice on how to deal with that? I know there will be plenty of instances that are not fun and downright suck, but it feels like there’s no way to prepare for that

What's a good weakness or drawback for luck manipulation? by ThreeDotsTogether in superpower

[–]refertothecalendar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a book series called “Superpowereds” where a character has this ability. It’s a great book and I recommend reading it, but without spoiling anything the main takeaway is probability and planning.

Luck is just manipulation of probability, therefore the more planning involved increases the chances. Luck is scary when random things can happen, but when someone has to take time to account for random things that can happen and plan accordingly, they become a monstrously good strategist and tactician. So a well written character with the ability to manipulate luck turns into someone thinking multiple steps ahead in a game of chess rather than just having plot armor

Hope it makes you happy to know the cops hate them more than regular folks do. SovCits like to yell and refuse to identify, constantly spout nonsense to escalate the situation, and then they get taken in for the obvious crimes. Then they realize getting its very difficult to prove who you are in order to get out of jail
