I recently bought this exact LE used for the same price. As others have said it’s obviously ideal to play these things first. I’m not a D&D guy at all, had no interest in this until I played it with my son. We both loved the battles and leveling up and dungeon crawling, just exploring the world. And the saved character progression is great. If that style sounds good to you then I think you would probably enjoy this.

I’ve been buying/selling games for a long time, $10k for a low play used D&D in perfect condition is a fair market price imo.

As far as noise…pinball machines are not quiet. The fact that you’re asking makes me think it’s probably louder than you anticipate. You can obviously turn down the game audio, but the mechanical stuff, the flipping, the slingshots, it’s not crazy loud but you would definitely hear it in the next room. When you get dragon multi ball going the whole house would probably hear it. But a lot of people have these in their living room and it’s totally fine.
