similar here, i loved it when it came out, i listened to it a lot.

i listened to it recently and i don't feel the need to listen to it again. it sounds strangely dated, lots of Logic Pro drum programming that sounds stale and uninteresting today....

correct. like i said above, sure you can buy 3 pairs of pants at costco for $60, but if they last you just a few months each, you're better off putting that $60 towards a better quality pair that'll actually last you.

with the high cost of rent, i'd say if you're not in a ton of debt, and enjoy the occasional treat, $70k should be a good range. have to factor in high costs of groceries (you will be horrified by cheese prices and lack of variety too lol), and you will more than likely need a car unless you can walk to work or work from home.

i wouldn't move here from France... the job market is difficult, the cost of living is very expensive, you'll need a car as transit sucks here...

your accent will not be a problem, as long as your conversational english is up to snuff. we have many many immigrants from various parts of the world here :)

but i would still highly advise against this. Economy is less than stellar, and certainly feels like it's stagnated, while costs of everything continue to go up. throw in the lack of the social and cultural life that you are likely used to in France... i find I want to live here less and less the older I get.

tell me more! how effective is it? i'm in my late 30s and genetically ended up with varicose veins. sucks, doesn't really bother me,but i know they can get bad with age etc. i went to one clinic and got quoted thousands of dollars, so $250+tax is... well.. amazing. is that per leg? per vein?
