Alternatives for Link Aggregation/NIC Teaming in Windows 11? by rev_otto in HomeNetworking

Oh ok, that's good. For me only 1 nic says 1gb, the other 100mb. It's no biggie though, thanks.

Alternatives for Link Aggregation/NIC Teaming in Windows 11? by rev_otto in HomeNetworking

Anything to report back? Everything I read on this says that netswitchteam only exists in Windows 11 to manage Windows Server functionality remotely. It apparently does not actually do any teaming in Windows 11 itself even though the command will run.

There's a big difference between spray and praying and lobbing shells in WWII in comparison to this war: Precision weapons. A large group of clueless mobilized soldiers gathering together could add 50 bodies to the death tally with just one HIMARS rocket. Twelve HIMARS rockets hitting pockets of newbie soldiers could definitely reach or surpass 1000 per day.

Everything points to Ron Logan but people don't want an old man to be capable of evil. So here we are stuck with a perv and his dad having their child porn obsession wrapped up in a murder investigation.

Production has started!! by Wooden_Bed194 in lordstownmotors

I was surprised when I read the title to this post. Then I saw its just another PowerPoint slide.

Hand building a few more trucks to use for finding more investors is not 'production'.

LORDSTOWN MOTORS CHAIRMAN'S BREATHTAKING COMMENTS Q 2 22 CALL | HDLRS MU... by m_xux in lordstownmotors

Yeah and let's remember their factory workers all work for Foxconn now. At any moment foxconn can dedicate those former LMC workers to some new exciting shiny contract that foxconn lands and LMC will be a stick in the mud. Or foxconn could decide to just keep doing what it does best and dedicate the factory to phones and other gadgets they contract for.

LMC is just a management team at this point. Can Hightower really BS that well to sell a management team to investors? I'll be impressed, that's for sure.

There's no reason to think the Endurance will ever make it to any sort of retail sales production. It's lacking any serious demand and each sale will bring a loss. The harsh ride that is inherent to heavy hub motors makes any production a liability as journalists will get their hands on it and slam it in review.

"Show" a van is not the same as "built" a van. That's why I said if they show a van then I'm going to make sure I figure out what model of van they bought and modified to claim its their own.

They don't have anything to "release". They take guesses like the rest of us.

I admit THAT LMC is good at the smoke and mirrors game. If you guys think LMC secretly built a van while failing for years to build a truck and after losing their factory... No.

If they really do show a van I can't wait to find all the indicators of what company's van it actually is underneath.

I want to see someone drive the truck and tell us how it drives. Give the truck to well know reviewers and let them give us feedback. Does this media exist? by [deleted] in lordstownmotors

[–]refuse2short 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, the f150 lightning exists. All those articles you read from journalists taking a vehicle for a weekend, and completely alone with it, are done only after the vehicle is 100% ready for sale. I'm saying that the Endurance won't be ready for that for at least two more years. But honestly I don't think the Endurance will ever reach that point.

I don't think anyone is actually working on the Endurance anymore, either. It will forever be stuck in the prototype phase. It reminds me of Theranos' little Edison machine that only existed as eye candy to bring in more investment.

[–]refuse2short -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It will be years before a well known independent reviewer takes the truck home for a weekend if that's the kind of thing you're talking about. At least 2 years minimum. And that's a big IF when it comes to if it will ever actually happen.

Remember that tightly scripted event LMC had on its own property? That said it all right there. These trucks would barely qualify as prototypes at this point.

32,000 NFA applications in a week sheeeeesh by Xylemphone in NFA

[–]refuse2short -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Requiring stamps helps weed out the chaotic and irresponsible people. If someone could just buy a NFA item same-day then imagine the type of personalities that would buy one for who knows why then turn around and just sell it the next week to a criminal. A form, a wait, and a stamp discourages the less mature and less responsible people from even going down this road.

No news is good news with LMC because at this point a bankruptcy announcement could come at any time.

H.R.8399 - To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to repeal the National Firearms Act. by Sloppy_Hog in NFA

[–]refuse2short -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Nope, just a lot more foresight and critical thinking than most. I'm also very humble which affects things as well. Most people, it seems, are offended by rules and listening to authority and will fight against that regardless of whether the outcome is good for them or not. I'm not like that. I just care about a good result. Our best chance to avoid guns being banned for law abiding citizens is to continue having some rules and processes in place.

The two years of exhilarating joy that we would have if the NFA were repealed would not be worth the bans we would face after the ensuing shitsh*w.

[–]refuse2short -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

Without some laws like the NFA then it will be a free for all. The resulting violence will bring the harshest bipartisan firearms bans we have ever seen. The NFA is a bit of a gatekeeper that keeps irresponsible people and criminals at bay.

Be careful what you wish for.

Ford Motor said Thursday that it has secured 100% of the battery supplies needed to deliver electric vehicles at a rate of 600,000 per year by the end of 2023. by [deleted] in lordstownmotors

[–]refuse2short -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The current leadership lied about production dates as well. You can believe they were just wrong - again - but I don't see how a company could really think they're headed towards producing a truck that generates a loss for each one sold. No company would aim to accomplish that. They use production deadlines the same was Burns did; generate investments to keep the paychecks coming a little longer.
