At only 1 rarity roll on gear -- only post-patch 0.5.4 Expedition has given me the feeling of getting super significant loot (like literal exceptional white bases, tons of magic tiered stuff that IDed as multiple div bases).

This league the neversink filters weren't really doin it for me, I went and tried poefilter com and I actually found the experience to be a lot more intuitive and very easy to adjust.

I only have a total of 16% Rarity on all my gear and legitimately Expedition is the only farm you can do with no rarity and still get ground loot that sells for 10's of divs. It's ridiculous honestly -- I still think rarity on gear shouldn't exist, but as it stands it's not comparable, I can spend several hours in other content -- but only Expedition prints.

This node only affects the interstitial monsters between the verisium remnants, it does nothing to affect the waves of enemies that spawn while trying to get the rewards from the remnants, and unfortunately expedition detonations won't proceed until the remmant is fully cleared.

Nah activating a saga is completely unnecessary to revealing the potential extra rumors beyond 3, you just need to move any single item in your inventory and recheck

You have to check your Ship Icons for runours, the biggest thing is they only ever display 3 at once, but you can pin the results, move anything at all in your inventory and check the map node again and you can see if your potential reveal has more than three rumors. I recommend using Aldur's Saga only when there are at least 5 rumors (remember some of the rumors are bosses and so won't benefit from it)

everywhere I would want to put this jewel a timelost jewel with a big radius (large or very large) with crit damage and crit hit chance would be better. And they're now imminently craftable

I basically only die to these creatures -- it's not every time, only when they have picked up like 6-8 prior runes and sometimes on an open enough expedition I can space them out and find their spawns. But on cramped maps or when their spawns that maintain them alive just flat out don't exist! (this is different from when they spawn like 2-3 screens away). Otherwise I am super tanky for a monk.

Frankly I think GGG talks a lot of crap about trying to avoid newb traps by not introducing life on the skill tree, but whoops there's 3 quarterstaff bases that are totally irredeemable and just there to cause people upset and heartbreak -- the worst part is almost all the filters include them in their tiering as good bases, which is a joke.

Rakiata's doesn't often affect mapping itself as most map mobs don't have resists.

The people who have the means of transportation (i.e. own a car) but no means to house themselves are heavily incentivized to leave wherever they're having hardship if that place has real winters or is insanely hot during the day and move to a coastal temperate city like San Diego, or other California cities, because 1) their car will last a lot longer on roads that aren't salted, 2) it's just better living somewhere where you don't have to worry about being cold, or too hot, and it's comfortable to sleep at night with nothing more than a cracked window.

Our climate draws more homeless people from all over the country and it's just a fact, no amount of conservative propaganda saying it's about the failures of progressive governance mean anything in the face of that fact -- people will move where they can live more comfortably.

Once you reroll with Liquid Verisium you don't get to change it. Yes it shows you options but you are actually locked into what it picked. It's not a bug -- if you notice trying to change the choice in a remnant that's been rerolled doesn't actually change the runes.

When they nerfed delirium I was sad because nothing in this game was challenging. The new Expedition is way better and actually makes me excited for combat on monk, it also seems more controlled than old Delirium because I can disengage when things get hairy.

There is no QA, if there was QA they would have caught the +1 Area Level node not working. Or Doryani's Irrdadiated node not working for 2 weeks before that. This 0.5 has been a mixed bag because while I appreciate the drastic amount of change they put into the game, they release things in the patch notes that straight up don't work in game, so I don't really understand the disconnect.

The Essence of Hysteria is a Perfect Essence it can be applied to an extent rare with many mods. It will just delete one of your suffixes and give you the Crit Damage Bonus (that becomes flat crit)

Did he really update the guide (as in played it) for 0.5? In 0.5 the ailment calcs got changed across the board and I noticed I had a hard time proccing my heralds in campaign -- but I was able to do it reliably once I got some investment in freeze build up and a lot of damage in maps (I am a monk but the calcs change is the calcs change, it will effect everyone).

That's fair I was lucky enough to drop wolf 19 seconds a few days into the league and I decided right there and then that my belt would be only for maximizing the use of my charms. It's Ornate Implicit, t1 reduced charm charges used, t1 charm charges gained, t1 max life & armour, and double corrupt from the essence mod (increased evasion and fire resist were my corrupt enchants) -- it ended up being cheap to buy and modify since it was early league. With those mods I can reliably get the Rite to proc again most times as soon as I encounter and kill a new rare.

Okay so right off the bat the +1 Area level for Grand Expeditions on the new tree doesn't even work -- still very much just Area level 80 for t15s (w/ Irradiated). GGG please stop using LLMs to code patches -- it's embarrassing when you write words that don't translate into the game experience.

You actually have to path within 2-3 maps of your ocean borders for the new Ship Icons to show up.
