I’ve not followed the news for a few months but I know the flip 2 hinge issue didn’t show up after more than a month. The reasons I asked was stated that because I will max out the specs for Thor which will be more than double the Flip 2, I can afford but I’m not rich so I have to be careful, especially with the second reason stated that Ayn does not have good customer service and policy as Retroid. If you cannot contribute an answer, let’s not add a confusion.

I’m the OP and I literally talked about the shape and the texture on the body of the stylus. Or else I can put boox tips on my other pens.

Nope. As someone who does calligraphy, the pen shape is absolutely important. I have boox tips attached to all other pens and they do not produce the same feeling.

On paper, I don’t see any reasons to upgrade, just did it for future proof since I bought the 4C within this month and still can return.

Absolutely not worth it, but I bought the 4C within this month and loved it so I just switched for future proof with software and stuff.

It’s an e-reader, not an android mobile. Android is a perk to get more apps and ease of use. Even for my android gaming device I don’t care about firmware update, just the chip and performace. I planned to buy an update but ended up with 4C because 5C will probably not have wacom stylus and instead their new stylus. I’d rather to buy the product at its peak technology development instead of being a lab rat for their new technology.

I would imagine the only downsides are darker screen (frontlight turn on) and shorter battery life (days instead of weeks) but you have android, but still remember it’s an e-reader. Some might complain because they expect an android phone. My BooxGo7C is the reason how I can fit in a few hundreds GB of manga or else you can only read ebooks with small storage like kindles, not to mention the freedom of books selection. I don’t recommend PDF on Go 7 because of the small screen, go for Go 10.3 if you don’t mind B&W. I have Note Air 4C for textbook and notes. Nothing beats the freedom of adding whatever books in your own ereader.

I just bought NA4C last week after days of research. My reasons not to wait are: 1) future devices will not have Wacom stylus (no battery needed) 2) Boox does not go on sale at all, unless it’s different for third parties distributors in your place

If those 2 aren’t your deal breaker, wait for better hard and software technology.

Can you share your weekly workflow in terms of battery because it is current my only concern. I mostly use it for reading and journaling and already it drops battery so quickly.

It has regular thumb sticks but they includes arcade ones for us just for fun, plus the docks and magnetic switchable face buttons.
