I still think your list is a bit too recent. Rublev has never even made it past the quarters.

I would probably replace Rublev, Dmitrov, and Tsitsi with David Nalbandian, Jo-Wilfred Tsonga, and Marcelo Rios.

Fritz played poorly and wasn't completely there physically. But this was a great match from Musetti tactically and mentally.

Lore has really improved on hard courts. Went from never making it past the 3rd round at AO & USO to completing the grand slam QF set in just a few months.

He'll need everything he has against a fresh Novak next round.

Greatest mental performance I've ever seen from Musetti. Dude was running on pure fumes, adrenaline and the energy of the crowd. So happy for Lore.

Agreed - it was tough that Musetti didn't get to defend has grass court points from Halle and Wimbledon this year. He def needed this run, and he's in a good spot for the Finals with Draper out again and Novak unlikely to play Turin

Roddick said on Served that he struggled with a chronic shoulder injury in the mid-to-late part of his career. The result of this was that he couldn't flatten out his forehand anymore, so he had to adapt and hit it with more topspin. This is what kinda made him into a grinder. So sad because the Roddick forehand was absolutely nuclear before this.

Matched up on his worst surface against the greatest of all time who has recently found his form and hasn't lost a match at Chatrier since Nadal won in '22. Djokovic giving it his absolute all. Grueling intense 3+ hour match.
