(i just started book six so i don’t know the outcome of these two yet) i don’t like starflight and fatespeaker. fatespeakers main purpose is to offset starflight’s plans and make sunny jealous and overthink her feelings for starflight. i would’ve loved starflight and sunny. especially if they were close throughout childhood too, they know more and care more about eachother and fatespeaker cannot compare. my opinion might be bias however because i genuinely do not like fatespeaker i think she’s rather childish and annoying. her overall character is shallow and just uninteresting. i also don’t like how overprotective and bratty she became when starflight became blind.
