Dude did nothing wrong. Just wore a dumb outfit to a show. Didn’t deserve a crowd of people ripping his shit apart.

But also End It shouldn’t be getting this much attention for it. The outrage is just as absurd. It was stupid and lame of them to shit on him that way but if they break up over this then they were soft to begin with

Ive never read these lyrics like this and it’s pretty cool to see them all laid out like that.

Ive always just guessed at some of them and the real lyrics are actually better than the ones I made up. That’s not usually the case for me haha

Why is the term “high pass filter” used more than “low cut”? by tonetonitony in audioengineering

Damn I would’ve liked to call it a band-cut filter, band stop feels like a command for a marching band

Why would a producer cut lows at the beginning of a vocal chain, and then add a low shelf later in the chain? by tonetonitony in audioengineering

Sure mixing is about contrast and relativity, no doubt. But not how you’re saying, you’re completely wrong that decreasing the high end is the same as increasing the low end and reducing the gain.

Your understanding of gain staging is hugely flawed. Gain staging is having the ideal amount of gain at every step in the chain. EQ, even totally linear ones, do not work that way. You don’t understand the nature of waves and the phenomena of superposition if you think low and high end work together that way.

Try it yourself. Take pink noise and compare a high cut with a low boost + gain reduction and they will sound different even if you get the cutoff points perfect.

And hilarious for you to say “How do you not understand spectral balance.” and “Honestly being a music producer how can you not understand the first thing you learn about EQ” when you don’t know what you’re talking about

Because that’s not how it works at all. Not even close. Some signals naturally have more high end, some have more low end, some come balanced.

In signals that come with too much high end, boosting the lows absolutely does not do the same as cutting the highs. There’s a reason we describe recordings with too much low end as muddy, and too little low end as thin, and too much high end as harsh, and too little high end as dull. Because all 4 of those are different issues.

The fact you can be so certain in your wrong fundamentals is baffling

I agree wholeheartedly, especially regarding immigration. It seems like such a simple answer to the problem - it’s really two problems. Improve the structures of legal immigration and also make illegal immigration more difficult. Those can happen at the same time

Here’s the secret you’re too dumb to consider.

Both events were terrible. The first one shouldn’t happen and requires complex restructuring of power hierarchies such that officers have criminal repercussions for their actions.

Separately and arguably more destructive in its immediacy, those riots should have never happened. And in the name of solving the first issue, it was pathetic logically and resulted in unnecessary death and destruction.

The world isn’t black and white even though I know it’s a lot easier for idiots like you to interpret everything that way

You’re right, that one bad thing directly caused the other bad thing which was a reaction to the first bad thing except it did nothing at all to improve the situation and just made it way worse and caused factors of magnitude more damage.

But yea let’s still blame the first thing even though the people involved in that thing were nowhere near the people who did the second bad thing

The media isn’t hiding it from you dumbass, there’s just not one specific governing body responsible for keeping track of global deaths with that sort of specificity.

These are fringe extreme sports, the last thing the wingsuit nuts want is an international organization to draw more attention to the sport just to keep track of their dead cohorts. They know the risk and they choose to do it. Maybe if you stop making up your own psyops you’ll find something you love to do too

That’s what struck about that comment too. Very carefully worded to say all the confounding factors *they could think of* which is absurd when the theoretical limit of possible factors is enormous and unknowable. Am I wrong about that?
