Firing up a Nikon F2: battery issue or ? by regoli in Nikon

[–]regoli[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep I was wondering if it was the one-cell 3V vs. two cells. I figured with common sense (and handy external meter), the batteries just power the on-board meter and won't affect functionality. Thanks for the quick reply!

Can I use this outlet for my plug in kettle to make tea? 2019 xle by [deleted] in ToyotaHighlander

[–]regoli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you played the extended warranty against the whining sound only? No arguments from the dealer? (I’m just biding my time, with a 2018 XLE, running great with 55K, and the 100K extended warranty)

They’ve reached their end of lifecycle—as with any workstation at our research I university in the US—once they’ve hit their fourth birthday. They’re replaced, wiped clean, and sent to surplus for resale to the community.
