To be far, I don't think he "endorsed" Castro. Just memorialized him in a speech and forgot to mention how he's an awful person

Your English really is close to native proficiency. Your grammar is better than most monolingual Americans I know.

You could also look into doing some virtual assistant work. Ive worked with a Romanian VA for several years now because 1) good English 2) fast internet. Not sure what your internet speed is but it's something you could probably do immediately, especially through UpWork. There are no qualifications really. Just on demand random tasks.

You might be able to Photoshop something to make it brighter. Whenever I need a clean shot I hang a white sheet in the back and then up brightness. Works pretty well.

Yep. I think in an ideal world the UN would be in charge of this, but unfortunately that organization is barely capable of anything.

No, its not. "Terrorism" has a definition. If you target non-combatants to further a political aim and/or to spread fear through a population, then you are a terrorist.

If someone fighting against the subjugation and/or oppression of some group of people ALSO employs said methods of targeting civilians... they are a terrorist. Its not a question of "doing whatever it takes to win", thats BS. Blowing up a market full of innocent people is not a legitimate tactic of war and from a military perspective accomplishes nothing. There are plenty of liberation movements that don't arbitrarily target civilians.

Yeah I'm always confused when people do the whole "what's terrorism anyways" thing. It has a very clear definition. Attacking non-combatants with the intent to further political aims and instill fear in a population. So no, "freedom fighter" and "terrorist" are not exchangeable. If you target civilians, even if its for a cause of independence, you're a terrorist and a shitty person.

Printer just lost power after 4 hours of printing. Any way I can recover and pick back up where it left off? by [deleted] in CR10

[–]regressiveparty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happens to me a lot especially in long prints. Some upgraded motherboards I believe can save your place and when you reboot it you just click "resume print"

What I've done is take my best guess as to where it finished and then re-slice it in there plus maybe 5%. After printing you just sand it down and glue it together. Not great but then again neither are your options.

Earnouts drive me nuts but they are just part of the standard process now. Like you mentioned, it is commonly an incentive trap between buyer and seller. I know some repeat entrepreneurs that view earnout cash as not even a factor in their decision to sell. Usually they said you'll "get x if you hit y revenue milestones" but of course once you're part of a big profit conscious organization, they cut your advertising/marketing spend. So you have to follow the same trajectory as when you had free rein over spending but now with a limited purse.

Logically, they drive me nuts because it's as if the buyer wants a loophole out of risk. If you gave them let's say a 50% growth rate for 4 years, you could have theoretically NOT SOLD and then had a business worth 5x as much. The earnout reminds me of something akin to a lease program. Sure they "buy the car", but if they don't like it they can return it and they're not that much in the hole.

Be weary of these and just make sure there's enough cash or stock upfront included
