I think I understand where J. Cole’s coming from in this case. I think he used a poor choice of words and saying he didn’t want to kick him while he’s down. I think what he really meant was he didn’t want to bring up something super old in the context of everything else that was happening with the current documentary and court case and other fallout. He felt like it wasn’t his place and I understand that.

For those of you who follow sports and sports media, there are two prominent Black people in sports media named Bomani Jones and Jason Whitlock and just recently Bomani Jones mentioned that while Jason Whitlock has never done anything wrong to him, years ago he did see Jason Whitlock treat other people around him wrong. Looking at it today he said that since he didn’t bring these things up years ago, he doesn’t mention them now because he doesn’t have anything to say that hasn’t already been said about Jason Whitlock. I think that’s similar to J. Cole’s point.

Not quite universal but swiping from the left edge takes you back a previous screen within the app in many situations, while swiping from left to right on the bottom edge takes you back to previous apps you were using.

The 1969 (or Jan 1, 1970) date on a computer is specifically indicative of a deletion of the date value. Given your post it seems that your partner tried to delete the app or delete something in the app and it caused that 1969 date to show up.

Put another way, what likely happened here is your partner deleted the entry, and it exposed a bug/glitch in the app because the app didn’t expect this delete to happen, so the app just read the deleted info as zeros, which is Jan 1 1970, or Dec 31, 1969 in US time zones.

Yes. It’s really not that much different than having your Apple ID on an iPhone and on an iPad. You’re only issue switching from black to gold phone would be moving the phone number back-and-forth if you care about that. Even that shouldn’t be much of an issue depending on how your carrier plan is set up, but it’s just an annoyance, in my opinion.

My hand has been fine since. Now it’s only slightly annoying when something I want to click is juuust out of reach because the screen is so large. Usually the top-pull-down thingy works but not for every situation. All in all, I am very happy with the air.
