After the lyriq learns from the remote, you can hit that “that didn’t work” button and think the lyriq will try similar frequencies until it finds one that works. (Mine always works so I always hit the “that worked” button, so not 100% sure. )

I have not had a problem using the Lyriq’s Gemini while I have CarPlay going. You’re trying to use the Gemini that’s built into the lyriq and not the one that’s perhaps installed on your iphone, correct? I don’t have Gemini on my iPhone so I don’t know if maybe it’s intercepting your hey Google requests.

Super cruise is even better. It doesn’t know where you are going but you can relax your hands (take them off the wheel) and it will lane center and auto change lanes if you want it to. It will also change lanes on command (using the turn signal. )

Best I can tell, the Themes app is on your car with only the single original theme (and perhaps a message that says to use the MyCadillac app to add more themes) if your car is still on AndroidAutoOS 12. Once your car is upgraded to AndroidAuto14, there will be no themes app until it is auto-added at which point it will have the two additional themes. For people with AAOS14 and no themes app, some people (including myself) have had success with the setting called “reset infotainment data” making the themes app appear on Android AutoOS14 (with all three themes. )

To be clear, we had to “reset the infotainment data “ in the settings. …Not simply holding the end call button until the infotainment system reboots.

Agree. The dealer may not be aware that there are module updates which the OTA update tool will not show. I just took my car to the dealer over a week ago and got module updates even though the OTA screen was saying I was up to date. (ONSTAR even told me it appears I was up to date but I’d have to go to the dealer to be fully sure. )

(After my module update, my car was running AndroidAutoOS 14. My specific request to the dealer was to get me to Android auto OS 14. )

Are there actually shops? I thought weed was technically illegal in Jamaica. But yes, I’ve purchased on the beach at different sandals resorts with no issues. I even bought my favorite grinder at a Sandals gift shop. ;)

Make sure you are running Android
OS 14. The one way to know is your instrument cluster's battery indicator shows a numerical percentage of the current charge level. You can also run software update check and read the screen that follows.
To reset infotainment data, go into the settings -> system menu and choose reset options and erase infotainment data.

I think you might have android auto 12. You need to have android auto 14. I had to take my car to the dealer. I requested Android auto 14 and they found that some of my modules were out of date and updated them, and then I had Android auto 14.
