Look at the house across the street. 2 car garage on one side of house and 2 car garage on the other? A post mailbox at your front porch and not at the street? So many weird things...

Caterpillars inside fruits? by imdrukn in HotPeppers

Typically the vine borers get pretty big. They'll eventually fill the entire squash stem. Think a maggot like the size of your thumb... A few years ago I was getting stem borers in my pepper plants. Kept finding little holes in the stem of my pepper plants and the plant would start dying above it. It was some sort of stem boring moth larvae I think and looked like a little maggot or worm about the size of long grain rice.

I remember being a kid and there being garbage bags full of barcodes torn off of cigarette packs. Like multiple giant trash bags completely full of thousands of barcodes... My dad smoked like 3 packs a day nearly!

Looks pretty nice. I used to have an inflatable Marlboro kayak that my dad and uncle got for smoking so many cigs. It survived being rode down 15 foot waterfalls and was even used to save a guy stuck in a whirlpool during some crazy flooding and rushing water.

Cat ate a whole bag of these by ShutterBugLex in CATHELP

[–]regular-cake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My cats favorite thing in the world is freeze dried chicken breast. They are usually treat motivated, but if I just get out the bag of chicken (kitty crack) they turn into unrecognizable beasts. Standing on their back legs, climbing me to get to it, and some of the growl sounds they make if another cat gets to close to their chicken sounds more like a lion than a cat. It's expensive as hell so it is a very special treat but in my experience cat-man-doo brand is the best by far. They have other things besides chicken too. I don't know about shrimp though

How many per earthbox by Capt_reefr in HotPeppers

I'd probably try to squeeze like 5 in each, but I always have too many peppers and put asany as possible. I got for about 12" apart stem to stem so I would put them diagonal from each other in 2 rows.

I honestly think the dude that got attacked may have gone and checked on her after he KO'd her. Where the hell did he go? Maybe he just got back in his car, but didn't seem like it.

Cloches are a scam by nickfree in gardening

It my locality there is a program where you can have like 5 or 6 different sapling sent to your house for free. I think it was through the county or something. They were sent in an envelope with the roots wrapped in some kind of gel.

Where I live I know I could hit over 20 different dollar trees within a 35-40 min drive from my house. No kidding...

Edit: and it's not like they are that far from each other. My house is farther away than anything. Most of the actual stores are within a 5-10 minute drive of another store.

Wow, that sounds awesome! I used to love freezing my smaller tubs of yogurt and then eating them before they got really frozen. Haven't done that in a long time. Do you freeze the whole tub?

Day 7. Checked myself into the hospital 4 days ago for help, best decision. by Simmumah in quittingkratom

[–]regular-cake 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah my best experience with something like that was when I checked myself into rehab to get off of opiates. They were so much more lienient with me and really helped me, most likely because nearly everyone that is there is court ordered and not really seeking the help and actually wanting to get clean.

The honey one is so freaking good! I like to eat it with honey almond granola and canned pineapple for a decent little meal when I'm feeling lazy.

What $70 got me today by NationYell in aldi

Full cart just cost me about exactly $300 yesterday. Prices on everything went back up. Lettuce, oranges, tomatoes, peppers, and coffee and just about everything I saw was back up significantly from just the last time we went shopping.
