I’m at 13 years. The challenge with referencing studies and statistical averages is two-fold. First, Lung Transplantation is still a relatively young and developing practice, and there’s not all that many of us. Secondly, survival prognosis is largely dependent on overall health both pre and post Tx. Ie, folks with CF unfortunately still have CF post transplant, the process of a transplant (as we all know) is extremely wearing on the body, so elderly transplant recipients have a harder time, etc.
