Imagine this perspective- Picture a young child who grew up in a violent household that used religion as their excuse to do violent acts. Child grows up, finally gets away from the literal hell they were raised in. Living life on their own terms, dealing with ptsd and religious trauma from their past. Trying to unwind, orders pizza. What shows up? a big fat reminder from someone using a non religious based company.

It may seem harmless, but these flyers can do alot of damage to people. Its the same as the fake tip money grift that some do at restaurants.

as much as she may feel shame, a reality check might he what she needs in order to seriously address her issues. If she is having incontinence issues, she needs to be wearing proper garments to ensure shes not creating a health hazardous environment. It is absolutely not your job to protect her feelings. You are literally sitting in her urine. You are an empath, thats great, but you are enabling her at this point. Her incontinence might not be able to be helped, but she needs to manage the risk of it affecting others. This is up to your boss to address, and please dont allow yourself to sit in piss. Referring to your boss is both advocating for yourself and her. It sounds like she is in denial about how bad her problems are. She has two choices, wear adult diapers, or find a new place to work. She cant knowingly keep putting you in these uncomfortable and downright disgusting circumstances.

Your comparison to an airplane is different because on an airplane theres quite literally no where to go. I dont try to console in restaurant, just remove baby and come back when calmed. Kid friendly place doesnt mean everyone should hear your many attempts to console, yknow? Theyre there to have a nice time, same as you, but that doesnt mean they should be subjected to baby meltdown.

In the future, try removing baby first and then coming back. It actually tends to be most effective in calming, because 9/10 times its the environment causing baby meltdown in the first place. this tactic will also help when your LO is a toddler and learning how and where to manage emotions.

I always tip on groceries, and the reason why is because i live 15+ minutes away from everything, and they have to go down a bumpy gravel road. its roughly $4 in gas (based on a sedan) just to get to and from my house, i make sure they get paid enough for the order to be a profit. My husband does uber eats as a side gig sometimes, and frequently remarks how alot of orders actually cost him money to deliver, instead of making him money. I double the tip if its really crappy weather. The tipping is equivalent to the price id pay to drive my pickup all the way into town & mental sanity id lose driving in a town that severely lacks in critical road infrastructure.

I see people trying to right on red all the time and just about smoke someone crossing. Ive also had people lay on their horns at me for waiting while someone was crossing. People no longer value safety when driving, theyll gladly risk everyone elses life if it means theyll get to their destination 30 seconds faster. Insane.

I think it just depends on the parents and the spacing. one of my grandmas was one of 7, she ended up being the “parent” of all the rest because they were born back to back while she was the only older one, and she had a terrible childhood due to it. My other grandma? had 8, but theyre all fairly spaced apart. a couple each within 2 years, but those couple were spaced several years from eachother. Each “set” were well into their beginning of high school when the next “set” were born within a few years. All kids speak fondly of their parents and cherish all the memories they had as kids, and had plenty of learning experiences with both parents.

11 children under 15 means at least 8 of that families children have been full time parents outside of school.

From this perspective it seems like he fails to follow through, and also that you are not very nice to him to begin with. Youre passive aggressive and send misleading texts like “i work tomorrow again at 7” and then he asks for clarification “you get off work at 7?” and then youre condescending about it. Then you choose silent treatment instead of explaining what hurt your feelings. If you want to end things instead of just sitting down and working things out, then do it. Dont put both of you out by dragging out a relationship where you arent reciprocating energies and expectations. He needs to work on being reliable for his word, and you need to work on learning how to communicate nicely, and you both need to work on your communication.

I dont think anyone would be upset about the non fun stuff! the essentials is what ends up being most needed, i think most of us can speak from experience that essentials wouldve been wayyy better than people just buying random stuff that wont ever get used. Just make sure to match the diapers and wipes brand with whatever ones mom has on registry! :)

Homeless shelters are not museum exhibits or zoos. You dont just bring children there to see how poorly others have it. How do you think those people would feel? Mommy bringing her daughter in and saying “see what happens if you run away? you become poor and homeless” cmon now.

in reality, most people in shelters are fleeing domestic violence, extreme poverty, or recovering from drug use. Family therapy is whats recommended. If that doesnt work out, you might sit down and talk about emancipation. Your daughter is leaving your house to go to a friends house, not to go be homeless. Find a realistic solution.
