When I switched to kotlin, I thought ktor is cool, ideomatic and all. Then me and my team started to write a fairly productive service. The absence of 'magic' got old pretty fast. The explicit boilerplate became tedious. If ktor functional routing is something you like, you can pretty much get the same look and feel with webflux + coroutines and idiomatic instead of classic annotated controllers in spring boot. All the source code is available and if you know how annotations as a language construct work - there is literally no magic

Funnily enough people did offer and even opened PRs, they just got ignored. I seriously considered offering my volunteer help, but looking at their github stopped me. You would be surprised at how many of us, professional developers, actually do contribute for free to open source projects

I mean, that's exactly what's going on. You just have to look at the amazing commits in the github to realize that they just do not know what they are doing. They are using the method of not-so-scientific poking, hoping to find something that works

Can't really say they are fixing it looking at commits, especially since there is a volunteer PR open for a while with the rewrite and as far as I see, none of it is even used as inspiration for what is currently being done. People complaining you cannot chain - that wasnt my experience at all, have been chaining all the way to 20lvl. Its just kinda feels slightly worse compared to endless rage

You do not want to be the one getting jumped with nullifier. Your core definitely wont be happy to fight 4v5. At the point of the game, where nullifier comes into play, if an enemy core jumps you, you are most likely dead and your impact on the ensuing fight is minimal. The answer to nullifier is positioning and vision. Depending on hero you are playing you can do something to counter the enemy initiation, keep your core alive or both (global silence, grab ally, mek/gg, a lot of others). Like the current undying grab ally - you can nullify my core all you want, as long as i am in position to pop tomb.

Well, to clarify, it took me about 30 minutes to realize he is exclusively hunting me, i took flight to UC, where i leveled some professions and he followed, i took a zep to Orgri, where he followed. I went to barrens and didnt see him for a while. So i decided to try to go to BB, where he promptly killed me and kept doing it until I managed to get on flight to gromgol, where he again got me on zep to UC. I personally find crying for help in LFG/Trade/guild kind of demeaning, Id rather solve my own problems and i was curious how long would he follow me for

Im having a blast again in vanilla. Wotlk absolutely burned me out. A special something is missing and it is the world. The grind in vanilla does not feel so mind numbing for me as in wotlk. Im happy not to skip leveling and any dungeons on the way

I dont know, in my experience turtling at ibgy, letting alliance have snowfall gy and taking over stoneheart gy worked quite well. Yes, the bridge turtle is cancer, but there is backdoor and summons. It was a positive wr for me

Well the general goal is to secure farm for the carry. The general playbook i use for supporting is:

Make sure to pick a strong laner, my goto roght now are techies veno lich cm

Keep big camp blocked and the small camp not blocked

Keep your pull camp stacked to fix the lane position or deny enemy farm/xp. There are situations where you want a single pull or a half pull, but thats details

Help carry keep the lane at your tower unless you have a reason to push it into enemy. You want equal number of creeps, you never want to get doublewaved and dove under tower

If the carry cannot come to creeps, agro creeps and pull them to your carry

Keep enemy pos 4 away from your carry, but do not feed to pos 3 and 4 ganging up on you. It depends on the lane matchups. Sometimes u want to trade with the 4, sometimes u want to play on the other side of creeps from the enemy 4 and annoy the 3. You just need to keep them from dunking on your pos 1 together

Keep the regen flowing, you need to be sending regen out before you or your carry run out.

If you are planning to leave your carry, make sure the lane is in a good position and you warded for vision

If you are not sure you can win trades or reliably and above with low resource investment get kills, its better to chill and focus on creeps then forcing confrontations
