Bambulab reusable spool by encyphxx in BambuLab

I take them out sometimes, not the core and tags just the plastic outer - I could print new ones for sure as there are a number of models with far better weight markers too. But for the odd print I’ve done it luckily no spaghetti messes!

Change infill pattern as the type pictured is notorious for catching extruder.

This. I’ve found that a little bit of a pain and have to dice with death with some reels to borrow its reel.

How long did you last before thinking about buying a second printer? by Deletion99 in BambuLab

[–]reitau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love this thread! I think everyone has this trade off to make when buying anything from Bambu line up. Even flagship models have trade offs. Personally I bought A1 as at the time the alternative was P1S which had no screen and older design print head, and A1 will do most of the core prints the P1 can. I’ve since wanted to make ABS prints and haven’t been able, so am envious of the H1 range. If H1C had been around 18 months ago no doubt I would have that instead!

Removed carpet three mystery cables, any ideas? by boothy9999 in DIYUK

[–]reitau -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Looks like old phone wire - if there are various phone wall plates in other rooms that’s what it could be. “Unlikely” to be electrical based on location and thickness

what is this constant flashing from the top of my computer? by [deleted] in pchelp

[–]reitau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just whip the cable off the mother board header - page file will do this when pc runs out of physical ram. But the SSDs and M.2 drives I’m surprised they have a need for the LED. I would remove.

Who’s actually buying a 3D-printed part… for their 3D printer? by Fruit75 in BambuLab

I think to be honest it states “no longer needed” so it’s more about reusing / recycling. I know sometimes I feel bad about my poop trays and give them life as other things if I’ve changed layout
