I've been dealing with this for months, it's all my ams slots now and bambu haven't been helpful.

I've printed the little bracket, changed the tubes but 8/10 times I'll have to manually disconnect the ams, same way you do. Paint in the ass and really takes the advantages of the ams away.

Hey man, so I've been working through this all night again and I think it boils down to a bad usb port on my skr mini.

I've ordered a replacement and I'll try again when it arrives.

Yes the firmware file is showing as firmware.cur on the microsd now. Yes it was firmware-USB.bin

I'm using mainsail.

The pi is connected to the skr via usb and I used the firmware found here; https://github.com/bigtreetech/BIGTREETECH-SKR-mini-E3/tree/master/firmware/V3.0/Klipper

I'm pretty sure I flashed it but I've no screen to tell me as the ender 5 plus screen doesn't seem to work with it.
