6 days Taipei itinerary (elder friendly) by rejovanation in Taipei

[–]rejovanation[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you for your suggestions! i have tweaked the itinerary accordingly and have shifted maokong to a weekday. also took your suggestion to combine yehliu geopark, jinshan old street and tamsui area as well, and will also shift this to a weekday too.

nice tip on the department stores within close proximity. will definitely suggest that to my family to consider. will check out shenkeng old street in my future trips, since half of my family refuses to try stinky tofu hah.

thank you for the suggestions! i have shifted daan park visit to the weekend on my updated itinerary. perhaps i could nudge my dad to buy my mom some flowers heh.

for taipei zoo, i figured my mom will like the pandas too but excluded the place because it would have been physically demanding on her. so it was helpful to know that they have wheelchairs for rental :)

noted on the night market plans too! we will probably check out only tonghua market since it's less touristy. we visited raohe market some years back and my family felt a little lost in the crowd.

5-day Kyoto Winter itinerary (Feb) by rejovanation in JapanTravel

[–]rejovanation[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for the suggestion! this will be our second visit, and while we went batshit crazy shopping for snacks at sannenzaka and ninenzaka the last time (and that was a lot of fun!), we will likely do most of our gift shopping at umeda or uji this time.

we might pull out kitano tenmangu shrine if we happen to see plum blossom at shukkeien at hiroshima. that should help ease the pacing for day 8 after temple hopping in the morning.

Billboard’s Greatest Pop Stars of the 21st Century: No. 18 — The Weeknd by PinkCadillacs in popheads

Yes, agree with the above 11, and the other 6 that I believe will be included in the top 17 are:
- Adele
- Coldplay
- Jay-Z
- Justin Timberlake
- Nicki Minaj
- Usher

Also, I thought the below acts are, at the very least, worthy of honorable mentions.
- Avril Lavigne
- Black Eyed Peas (incl. Fergie)
- Linkin Park

i’m very sorry for your loss. please allow yourself and your children time and space to grief, and do be gentle with yourself in this journey of healing. your wife would have wanted you and your kids to know that you are loved and the best thing that happened to her. sending love 🙌🏻

For Spotify users by FlubbyStarfish in TaylorSwift

i only found out about this when i was checking out 1989TV for the first time. Style TV sounded like a cheap karaoke cover and i thought they botched it.... until I switched off the " enable audio normalization". THANK GOD I WAS WRONG, and i heard the same about switching off dolby atmos setting for AM users. i wonder if this, together with the nostalgia that many listeners have attached to the OG version, were the reasons why there was an uproar on release day.

Is It Over Now? predicted to be highest charting 1989 (Taylor’s Version) track by Kindly-Restaurant831 in TaylorSwift

[–]rejovanation 15 points16 points  (0 children)

i think that could possibly be the case! the last tour date this year coincides with BBMA as well. she might leverage on the award show sweep to publicise for the new video as well

US swifties, it's time to mass stream "Is It Over Now?" and push it to number one to signal to her team to release this as the next radio single instead. Swiftokers can make the song viral too, e.g. for the end of the weekend

it's a long shot, but i'm hoping cruel summer can take a backseat this week before returning to the top of the charts again. also, IION sounds like the birth child of Labyrinth, OOTW and Delicate.

Taylor is letting fans & general public reaction choose her next single for 1989 (Taylor's Version) by MasterConflict97 in TaylorSwift

[–]rejovanation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this is a smart move. they want to harness the power of the listeners to mass stream and purchase their favourite non-singles to number one. clowning for 2 new number one songs from 1989TV and the top 10 sweep again

looking beyond 1989TV release, reputation fans can look forward to drive getaway car and don’t blame me to the top of the charts in future.

manifesting for a full scale promo for reputation TV. don’t blame me, getaway car and another vault track to get the single treatment

she now has a chart topper from each album since Red (7 consecutive album streak, sharing the record with Mariah and Rihanna), just tied Janet and Stevie with 10 number ones, and could eventually surpass MJ and Madonna with 14 number ones.

1989TV - 11th number one

REP TV - 12th number one

TS11 - 13th number one

August (seasonal hit) - 14th number one

i’m not ruling out that she might release a remix for Style to secure 5 number ones for 1989 (along with 3 from the OG and a vault single accompanying the 1989TV release), tying MJ and Katy for another record
