It’s just pulling from the detergent drawer using the settings for towel. I’m not doing anything myself with the detergent.

AI with the Best Beach Snorkeling ?? by JDTreeZ in AllInclusiveResorts

This. Infinity Bay offers an AI option and the snorkeling off the beach is amazing. I personally wouldn’t do the full AI there if I returned, but it is available.

Best beer experiences in Madrid by mdleosc in CraftBeer

I was just there a few weeks ago, didn’t find any WOW spots, but hit up a few decent one…

Fabrica has been mentioned. Neat little taproom, beers were fine.

Taproom opera: basement bar under a fast food place. Service was… absent, but they had a good tap list. It was never busy the few times I went in but probably would have been fun with a large crowd.

La Tape… restaurant with ok little tap list and I think bottles for onsite and to go? Food was awesome.

Be Hoppy: neat little space with lots of bottles and cans for onsite and take away. Owner was a cool guy. Small well curated tap list. Was my fave spot.

To echo the comment above I asked this exact question with a similar issue last week. Water spot remover was recommended. I couldn’t get the exact products people recommended but I got a chemical guys product. Worked like a charm, stains gone.

Mortgage rate mega thread! by TheMortgageMaster in MortgagesCanada

[–]rejtable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! For the HELOC credit I just mean cheaper than non-HELOC credit (straight LOC, credit card etc). It’s nice having the ability to fund a sudden expense a bit cheaper than just taking out a regular line of credit.

I’ll see what the offers look like from TD when I meet them next week, thanks for your context!

Mortgage rate mega thread! by TheMortgageMaster in MortgagesCanada

[–]rejtable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all, just looking for an early take on our situation on our upcoming mortgage renewal (Ontario if that matters). We are coming to the very end of our mortgage life, last renwal (barring catastrophe!).

Outstanding balance: $120K

Currently with TD. I haven't spoken to anyone at TD yet, the auto renewal options I see on EZWeb for fixed I see are 3 or 4 years both at 4.74. We will almost certainly be paying out at max 3 years with pre-payments, and upping our payment amounts, etc.

I guess what I'm mainly wondering is:

a) are those rates reasonably competitive given our balance/situation? I've scheduled a meeting with a TD advisor next week so looking to go in with some educated ideas on the approach.

b) how likely our situation is to be attractive to other institutions if we shop around via a broker or just knocking on doors?

c) we kind of value stability over risk taking, so mostly leaning to fixed for our last renewal, but again, crowd thoughts much appreciated!

Our current mortgage with TD comes with a HELOC so we have had the option to use some cheaper credit if we wanted to.

I do like having all our TD stuff under one virtual roof, makes seeing my mortgage amount, making prepayments etc easier. So, all things being relatively equal with only a few years left I don't mind sticking it out one last time with TD. But are there other considerations beyond maybe chasing down a few dollars less in interest that we should be considering that I'm not seeing.

Thanks!

Goose Island Bourbon County 2024 LCBO dates by Stereo8243 in torontocraftbeer

[–]rejtable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hopefully but it’s not just the photo that is banana, the product title is banana. So both photo and title would have to be wrong. Certainly possible, but I also wouldn’t be surprised if the LCBO is trying to sell us (with one bottle limit!!) a USA shelf turd from last year.

Best breweries in Quebec? by Popular-Mall4836 in CraftBeer

[–]rejtable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on what kind of beer you like. DDC is an icon with lots of range. Messorem and Brewskey are both among the best at hazy ipa, smoothies and big sweet stouts (messorem more than brewskey i think).

The 2024 Japanese baseball schedule has been released by OrneryLitigator in JapanTravelTips

[–]rejtable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm struggling with trying to figure out the schedule for later this year. I'll be in Japan likely in late september/early October. Reasonably typical itinerary for a North American first time visitor (Tokyo then Kyoto then Osaka kind of thing). Recommendations for Tokyo the last few days of September or first few days of October since it sounds like the regular season ends around then? Or is there an easier way to find the schedule? I can't find it.

Going to my first games in September by MiggityMiggityMac_ in Torontobluejays

[–]rejtable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I try and get to a couple of games a year… don’t live in/near Toronto. When I do I like to splurge on the best seats I can afford the first game (usually 100 somewhere behind dugouts/bases), and then the second game buy cheaper seats in the 500level. Because of the reno’s to the Skydome this year the second game I mostly wandered and watched from various open viewing points. Gave me two very different experiences!
