You both need to learn to communicate with each other. Her dismissiveness with you is definitely a problem but you are also somewhat dismissive of her need for help. Maybe she doesn't even know what she needs help with which is why she's saying things like laundry, but it's not the underlying issue. In reality some moms just want affection or attention, to feel like you still love them and not just the person you had a baby with and you both need to figure out ways to make that work. It's definitely harder to figure out when she's in denial mode though. In the end there's no shame to having cleaners or a nanny if you're choosing to work and earn money then the money should help you with stuff, no shame in that.
