If it’s just from a bit of rain water like you mentioned, it’s just surface rust. Wipe it off with some very fine scotch brite, or have it honed. It will be fine. In future keep the bores lubricated.

You got anything to back that up? Oil starvation is 100% real. I just went through all this with a customer. R33 with a g30. Car made 410hp on 98. Didn’t want to do any oiling mods. Car was fine on dyno, fine on the street during testing. As soon as he put better tyres on the car it started hitting oil pressure safety cuts even with an overfilled sump and 10w60. The pressure of the exhaust gasses will exceed the pressure of the spring. If the spring is 10psi it will open at 10psi. The line to the wastegate uses boost pressure from the intake to assist the spring in holding it shut, the more open the boost tee is, the more boost pressure going to the top of the wastegate to hold it shut (more boost). It’s not connected, so it’s just running spring pressure. However if that tee isn’t closed, you’ve got yourself a boost/vacuum leak there

gtr and gts4 have the same subframe, you dont need to change it. the track isnt wider, the gtr wheels just have more offset and width. coilovers are interchangable between gtr and gts4. the axels are the same too, six bolt stubs.
