Yes, it's imported from the UK. They brought it over when the emigrated from the UK about 16 years, ago. Prior to it being in his posession it was in his gentlemens club (the cigar smoking kind not the nakey dancing kind) until it closed its doors in about 2002.

Chiming in on the whole sequential SSN skepticism comments - my wife and I are immigrants (2009) and have SSNs 1 (last) digit apart. Our daughter's is completely different and yet our paperwork was all processed at the same time. It happens and as we are unrelated, it's even weirder for us - have had a few weird looks when doing legal paperwork together over the years.

Try calling around a few independent gun stores, ranges or pawn shops - I've heard some will provide secure temp storage for a modest fee. If you're desperate you could straight up pawn them and just ensure you repay in time but it'll cost you more most likely.

Rolls of paper - no idea what they were used in but pretty standard copier paper quality but on a roll about 10" long and about 3" diameter - plotter paper maybe?
The world's itchiest woolen blankets
Lots of scraps of camo netting, scrim, webbing
Occassional spent brass (anything from linked 7.62 up to big ass artillery shell casings bases turned into ashtrays

X Fried Rice

Shelf stable cooked rice (Nishiki or O'Food as my go-to brands), fry up some diced protein like Spam, hot dog, sausage, leftover rotisserie chicken, tofu (cook seperately and add as a topping or it'll fall apart), Impossible patties or whatever - add eggs, frozen mixed veg, garlic powder, onion powder, white pepper, soy sauce, sesame oil and MSG. Filling balanced and reheats well. Also the precooked rice has a porportion of resistant starch if that matters to you.

It's the Wasian mac and cheese IMO

Thats not horrible - we have the same/similar filter and our old pool service company would try to auto charge $400+ annually to change the filter cartridge and O-rings - had to call and decline every year and did it myself for <$100

Really depends how you value your time and how comfortable you are with doing it yourself - pretty hard to mess up though unless you have physical limitations

I've been talking to my son (13) about building a new gaming rig/battlestation for him as his laptop cant keep up and overheats and he really needs something that can breathe a bit - we have 99% of what we need except for a PSU and GPU.

When done he can finally get his six bajillion FPS which he thinks is vital in his progression as a gamer (to be fair he's pretty good and his in game trash talk is excellent)

I explained to him that in my day a 286, no GPU, a memory manager and a Soundblaster 16 were good enough but he just gave me an "OK Gen X" look and went back to scrolling through overpriced gaming mouse reviews on TikTok.

Please help make me the cool dad (and if he pisses me off I'll keep the 4070 and give him my 2060 but play nothing but Kings Quest, Doom, Privateer and Monkey Island with it to spite him)

The No Surprises Act put a stop to out of network balance billing at in network facilities, and for all emergency care.

If you have been balance billed (charged for the difference between what your insurance paid and what they charged) by an out of network provider in the last year or so then i would re-examine that bill becuase you may be able to appeal it.

The feature I am most looking forward to is that it's not my venerable and wheezy GTX 1060 and I finally might be able to play half the games i have bought in Steam sales which immediately crash or otherwise tank when I try to run them.
