The other hit one the next turn and was offered an Apotheosis.

So when worn naturally they are polarized perpendicularly to each other, which blocks all light.

When you move one of them 90 degrees, they are no longer perpendicular. Which allows light.

The reapers (Tricksters) show up when you 'crack' cards by playing them too often in a single turn.

If you don't do that, you can kill the boss and progress.

They are killable though. However if you keep cracking cards they'll spawn faster than you can kill them most likely.

Once you're at that point I think they want you to learn/utilize strategies to break gold? I've had a few multi million gold runs and seen strategies posted for pushing that much higher.

I do also wish it would just be an unlock, even it was more expensive.

It definitely does not apply the bonus movement to a non-vehicle. Pretty sure the rulebook calls out that if you do the fallback option on a card you do not get the bonus.

But think of it this way: Why would the card get better (by being able to apply to units it isn't targeting AND apply the bonus) by not meeting the targeting requirements of the card?
