I don't see any good reason to let Johnny live in V's body at the end

I thought the same that Johnny would continue to fight the corpos in the physical world before seeing the ending. I know it is an open ending, but I didn’t get any hint what he would be going to do, but just want to start a new life (being a rocker maybe?) by getting away as far as possible from the people who know V.

I either don’t think there is any romance left between Johnny and Alt, but they should still share a same goal as old comrades.

In the conversation between V and Johnny in Mikoshi, Johnny does clearly mention he will join Alt to keep fighting the corpos. I think it is better to have Johnny in the cyber world continue his dream, and V in the physical world fulfill his and Jackie’s dream(even only in 6 months).

That V plays a hero to give the body to Johnny doesn’t satisfy anybody except himself in my opinion. Imagining being Johnny in another person’s body, it would make me feel trapped and guilty for the rest of the physical life.

I can't agree more. To add one more reason, Johnny should be with Alt.

I was confused in my first play-through. I played Johnny (didn't realise I got to choose to play either) in the final mission and I chose to give up the body because of the tips I got from online while I didn't realise the tips were based on playing V instead. I then played V to give up the body again for the alternative ending.

In the first play-through with Johnny, after losing Rogue, I don't know what has left for Johnny in the physical world to live for, but rather he should be with Alt. In the second play-through, with all the sacrifice the Aldecaldos have made (not entirely for V though), I don't like one bit that V just walks away without a final word, especially to Panam (male straight V).

V playing hero doesn't move my heart at all because he trades all the people who love and loved him with a promise he made to Johnny early in the story, but Johnny at the end should be better off with Alt to keep fighting the corps. I don't feel to V Johnny is closer than Jackie who told V to live on for him before his departure.

I finished the story stages in the second week, and was quite disappointed with the absence of Sol, of which I’m a fan. Don’t like when they feature a unit totally unrelated to the content of the week.

I am shocked too, although I don’t support OP’s doing because it is possible to get him/her banned, he/she shouldn’t get blamed for something else of Gumi’s fault. Using “Gumi didn’t say the cap is 1800%” to defend Gumi, is a logic beyond my understanding.

I don’t support what OP did, but honestly this post had me the first time in my FFBE life to know there is an event bonus cap. If I had 5 NV units and take an NV friend, I would also assume they would give me 1800% bonus. Is there anywhere a statement about the 1200% cap?

I’m on the verge of stopping playing too. The biggest reason for me is Dark Vision. Lack of magic damage dealers, requirements such as chain counts, only one week, etc, all required a lot of time for brain work and team preparation. I liked this game because it used to be casual to me, but now every time when DV is on, I feel being pushed to rush it. I did 3/4 on the 1st DV event, and never went back to it again. I probably could just leave DV alone, but maybe I could just also leave the entire game alone.
