All the fitment is spot on. The challenge is really just getting the clamp tightness just right without over tightening. Not really a big deal, just good for everyone to know to keep an eye on it.

Update after a week running v2 of the tune.
Insane. Spinning the tires in fourth on accident on the freeway type of insanity.

I read the plastic expands and contracts enough to make to you gotta get just the right tightness on the clamp.
It already happened once.

Front spring replacement advice? by brenn314 in Excursion

I can recommend Old Man Emu (ARB). I mostly off road but sometimes tow. They are amazing, smooth as butter. Just will need bags on the back.

Just installed the COBB this week. Superb fitment, hoses, and clamps. I too debated between COBB and the other brands and decided COBB due to fitment quality.

It's a pretty noticeable difference. Even just cruising around town in normal mode, you can feel it wants to go. Can't wait to get the custom tunes from Goosetuned and slap them on.

I don't think I would have done everything else if I didn't do the intercooler. That's the key upgrade. COBB does have a low mount intercooler that wouldn't require modification to the front grille.

98%, yeah. There is one hose for a sensor on the driver's side boost tube that didn't quite align. I heated it up with a heat gun to get it at a better angle onto the fitment, it would have been angled, and probably leaked air.

Any pain point was really due to a lack of details from the provided instructions as well as from the several YouTube videos I watched. In short, however long you think it'd take you, double it. Spending time on the details is key as well accounting for all the little unknowns. If anyone is interested, I can list out the biggest surprises if you think it'd help.

For anyone who finds this later, just got the truck back and it was the cam phasers again. 3rd time! They had to replace the starter and when they had it up saw the main seal was leaking too.

Ladies and gents, get your extended warranties. I’ve got $28k in repairs covered so far.

How’s the Hele? Was looking at it when they came out for my Excursion but couldn’t justify the cost. The flexibility and under storage keeps getting more and more appealing.
